PROPHECY: Potentially Explosive New Wine

TODAY'S WORD Dear Bob, Joseph and WPA: I feel led to embark on my own prophetic "meanderings" today, in response to the recent writings of prophets Bob Neumann and Joseph Cook. The word "meander", derives from a river in Western Turkey, which in bible days bore that name, and today is called the "Bayuk Menderes". Bob talked about the Holy Spirit, quickening memories. He gave one scripture about it. I will add a second: John 14 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. THE MEANDER RIVER Miletus is the port city, at the mouth of that River. Paul spoke there to the Ephesian elders, warning them in Acts 20 28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. Other cities that were built on the shores of the Lycus River, which flowed into the Meander, were Colossae, to which the epistle of Colossians was penned. The study helps to the Thompson chain reference bible gives these purposes for the book of Colossians: 1) "General: a message of good will, to exhort and edify believers. 2) Special: to counteract doctrinal errors growing out of the mixture of Judaistic teaching, combined with the vagaries of oriental and philosophic speculation. These heresies tended to obscure the divine glory of Christ." Laodecia was also a city in the Lycus River valley, which flowed into the Meander. Do I need to write a dissertation about the similarities of Christianity in Laodecia with that which predominantly manifests itself in America today? Jesus told them they were "wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked." They did not see themselves that way. They thought they were rich, and had need of nothing. So, I believe our meanderings along this River of prophecy, and our consideration of its' purity, or rather its' lack thereof, is something the Holy Spirit has called us to consider, once again, at this time. This is something that has been before us here at WPA since the outset. Some time after our creation, the Holy Spirit put something in my spirit: it was called a "boil water alert". That was an unusual time. The Holy Spirit was, and still is, calling for purity in the river of living water. There must still be a problem, or the Holy Spirit would not be speaking to us in such a manner. POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS NEW WINE I read the latest Bob Neumann word last night, and I kept waking through the night, with this aspect of the new wine in my spirit. The new wine can be very dangerous. New wine, placed into old wineskins, explodes those skins. The image I immediately had, was of nitroglycerin. The Holy Spirit is said to be, in one sense, "dunemas", from which we derive our word for "dynamite". The image before me was the care that is required for the safe handling of nitroglycerin. Hundreds of men were killed in the construction of the first American transcontinental railroad, by arbitrary explosions of the nitro. A solution was reached: the nitro was mixed only at the point of use, where those were present who were expert in handling it. Another image flooded my mind this morning: that from a movie from some years ago: "Raiders Of The Lost Ark". The ark of God, found and captured by representatives of the Third Reich, was opened in their presence. They thought they had obtained unlimited power, but that power quickly destroyed them in a most horrible manner. I was given a scripture by the Holy Spirit explaining the causes. Why has this new wine, meant for good by God, turned into evil for many in the American church, and in much of the world as well: Hosea 4 1 Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. 2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. 3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away. 4 Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the priest. 5 Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother. 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. 7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. 8 They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity. 9 And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings. 10 For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD. 11 Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart. 12 My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God. 13 They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery. 14 I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall. 15 Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, yet let not Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to Bethaven, nor swear, The LORD liveth. 16 For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place. 17 Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone. 18 Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give ye. 19 The wind hath bound her up in her wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices. SAFE HANDLING OF THE NEW WINE Mr 2:22 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles. Lu 5:37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. Lu 5:38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. Lu 5:39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better. You must be born again to enter into, and to see, the kingdom of God. You must be a new creation. Old things must have passed away. What has happened is that people imbibed on the new wine, but persistently and stubbornly refused to be transformed by the renewing of their minds, into a new creature. This stubborn refusal to become a new creature, ie, a new and fresh wineskin, has caused an explosive situation to result, both for individuals, and for the nation they inhabit. The new wine has become a dangerous, explosive substance for these who have stubbornly refusee the sanctification process that the Holy Spirit seeks to work in the life of a believer every day. Bob Neumann has pointed out that there is an order to the scripture, and I believe I see it rather clearly: First: the new wine is poured out. Second: scripture shows us those, in Joel 1, who have become drunk, have passed out, and lay asleep. They forgot the law of God, as Hosea makes the charge. They were not transformed. They poured this explosive new wine into an old wineskin. Third: They awake suddenly, with a start, and with panic. The new wine is cut off from their mouths. There is a famine of hearing the word of God. Fourth: They seek, as King Saul, after peeping wizards and familiar spirits. Anything spiritual will do. They are spiritually desperate. Fifth: God turns them over to deceiving spirits. 2 Thessalonians 2 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Sixth: A fire devours before them. Judgement comes. Justice covers the land. And so, we see ourselves at stage four right now, and perhaps, frightfully, at the outset of stage five. Many will not repent from this prophetic "meandering" to peeping wizards. Many have been cut off, and are in a famine of hearing the word of God, from their recklessness in imbibing of new wine. Isaiah 28 1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! 2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand. 3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet: 4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up. 5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, 6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate. 7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. They fell asleep, drunken, after their spewing. I can hear, somewhere, that supposedly Holy Ghost authored drinking song that crossed this land a decade ago: singing about getting drunk on the Holy Ghost wine. Now, here is where we see the church: Isaiah 29 8 It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion. 9 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink. 10 For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered And so, as King Saul, many in the church have awakened, staggered by recent events. They cannot obtain a word from the Lord. They are staggering to any and every spirit, and to peeping wizards. OLD WINE BETTER THAN THE NEW Bob Neumann said, in his article, that this phrase "must mean something". Indeed. As I pondered this "meandering", these scriptures were quickened: Jeremiah 18 15 Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up; And, this too, from Malachi 4 4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: CONCLUSION If you are reading this, and you are convicted that you have awakened in a fearful and panicked state; been seeking prophetic food at every trough, that you have not tested the spirits, that you have unconfessed sin in your life, and you are ashamed of it, and desire to repent, do not go on from this point. Pray that God might give you repentance. Desperately run after God that He might give it to you, that you might be transformed, by the renewing of your mind; that you might be made into a new creature; that you might not be turned over to a deceiving spirit.
