Prophecy: Jews, Jerusalem and Israel Pt 1

TODAY'S WORD Brothers and sisters, iniquity abounds! ANNAPOLIS The Annapolis Conference begins today. Kislev 17 begins at sundown tonight. Exactly 60 years ago, on Kislev 17, 46 Countries voted on UN General Assembly Resolution 181-the proposal to partition the Land Of Israel, known then as Palestine, into two states: one Jewish and the other Arab. (My thanks to Logan Herring of WPA for bringing this to my attention) A VISION Yesterday, I had a vision of the number of the name of the beast of Revelation, hanging in mid air. I saw the three Greek letters that scripture uses to indicate the "number of his name": the CHI, the XI, and the STIGMA. Then, I saw the image morph into the Greek word CHRISTOS and I realized that the FIRST and LAST letters are the same in the three letter designation for the NUMBER OF HIS NAME (the beast) and CHRISTOS. They both begin with the letter CHI, designating the number 600, and they end with the letter STIGMA, designating the number 6. The only difference between these two "words" is that with the number of the name of the beast, there is only ONE letter in the center, replacing the FIVE letters from the middle of the name CHRISTOS. That one letter is the letter XI, which has a numerical value of 60. (The Greeks had no Arabic numerals until they were invented 700 years later) And so, the only real differentiating factor between the word CHRISTOS, and the NUMBER OF THE NAME OF THE BEAST, is the XI, or the 60, and we are exactly 60 years from the partitioning of Palestine by the United Nations, as of sundown tonight. It seems that God is delivering a beastly warning. The external shell of Annapolis looks just like Christ: peace and safety and the like. But look inside the shell and see what slithers within. Furthermore, the name Annapolis, was derived from that of Queen Anne. The name Anne, means grace. The five center letters of the seven letter name CHRISTOS signify grace, as that is what the number five represents. And so, one might ask....grace to whom? HIS LAND We are clearly told in scripture by GOD that the land belongs to him: Leviticus 25:23. We are warned that God will gather all nations to the valley of Jehoshaphat over the issue of scattering his people and parting HIS land: Joel 3:2. We are told that anyone among this gathering of nations who burdens himself with Jerusalem will be cut to pieces: Zechariah 12:3. That means that anyone who tries to pick up Jerusalem and carry it like a load, will be cut to pieces. This might refer to anyone who might think to have good intentions toward a wicked Israel or who might try to get involved with Israel in a good way. Be careful what you touch! God has told all nations that they are not to pick up this burden. SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS Finally, we have just had, in the last month, a comet, named 17P- Holmes, that suddenly brightened one million fold while travelling through the constellation Perseus. Comets, to the pagans, are harbingers of war and impending doom. To the Christian, this comet symbolizes that Christ is the breaker of the devil's head. To the Greek Mythologist, the constellation Perseus relates to Perses, the father of the Persian nation: Iran! The comet flared one million fold in brightness when it was located just beneath the arm of Perseus that holds the sword. I believe that a simple and forthright reading of the sign is that God has just warned not only the church, but the entire world. He has warned the whole world about war and impending doom. Why? DEFINING TERMS Part of the problem we are currently in the middle of is that so called "Christians", in our nation and in other nations, have many opinions about the Jews, Israel and Jerusalem. The truth is that in terms of truth or falsehood, it does not matter what you or I think, except that what we think on these things will frame our actions to a great degree. God's word is really quite clear about these three things, but you have to be filled with the Spirit to see it and understand it, and you need to have a few understandings in place, firmly, before you move on to other things. When this does not happen, you get a GIANT MESS, such as those heresies that have been recently uttered by John Hagee, to the effect that Jesus did not come to be the Messiah to the Jews. JEWS Let us begin with the NT, in the book of Romans, chapter 11, regarding JEWS. 1) It is clear, unambiguous NT teaching that the Jews must accept Jesus of Nazareth in order to be saved. There is no other covenant for them to be saved under. Romans 11:13-14-PAUL speaking- "For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them." Pauls FLESH was JEWISH flesh. He wanted to save some of them. In order for them to be saved, they were going to have to be "provoked to emulation of him". They were going to have to copy him, to become just like him, and believe and trust only in Jesus to save them. 2) A remnant of the Jews will be saved according to the "election of grace". This means that no matter how wicked the Jews become, God will save part of them. They will turn to Jesus and be saved. Jews for Jesus reports that more Jews have accepted Christ since 1990 than accepted him from 30AD to 1990AD. Romans 11:5-6- "Even so then, at this present time, also, there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works; otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace; otherwise work is no more work." 3) After all of this, Paul teaches us in the book of Romans that there is a sense in which those outward Jews who are disobedient are really not Jews in God's eyes at all. Take a look at these scriptures: Ro 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: Ro 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. So, great care must be taken, in the scripture, and when we make discussion, as to just what we are talking about when we use the term JEW. JERUSALEM Regarding JERUSALEM, we must also begin in the NT. The NT teaching that is little understood is the eternal truth that there have always been the two Jerusalems. You will need to closely study Galatians 4. Understanding is needed here before Revelation 19- 21 may be understood. Likewise, all of the scriptures weave in and out of sometimes discussing the lower Jerusalem, and then higher Jerusalem, and sometimes, both of them at the same time. Tracey and I have done an entire one hour radio program on this topic of the "Hagar Understanding". This topic deserves it's own little section of its' own, and I will deal with it shortly. When you read this, you will realize that great care must be taken, in the scripture, and when we make discussion, as to just what we are talking about when we use the term JERUSALEM. ISRAEL Then, there is the need to determine just whom the bible is speaking about when the term ISRAEL is used. 1) The world uses the name Israel to describe a nation in the Middle East. 2) The bible uses the name ISRAEL as a later name for Jacob, and his descendants are then referred to as the sons of Israel, or the children of Israel 3) The term ALL ISRAEL is used to describe all the members of the twelve tribes of Israel, whether they are obedient to God or not. 4) But even in the OT, we see that God's eyes are upon the obedient remnant of Israel: 1 Ki 19:18 "Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him" 5) The NT says there is an ISRAEL after the flesh: 1 Co 10:18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? 6) The NT also compares the church to a wild olive tree, and says it has been grafted into a good Olive tree. From this metaphor, the church reckons that it is a type of spiritual ISRAEL Romans 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? So, when you have just taken the time to consider these few verses, and there are many more, you will realize that we need to be very careful when we study in scripture to try to determine just what is being spoken about when the word ISRAEL is used. CONCLUSION TO PART 1 We need to consider that almost every preacher today is playing fast and loose with these three terms. They have already made merchandise of the church. They see you all as either a wallet or a purse. You are a walking tithing check in their eyes. They obviously have no fear of God, and it shows when they loosely throw these three terms around. So, we need to pray and seek the Lord on these things. Furthermore, regardless of term definitions, the world has been warned, again and again. Every move by America to pressure Israel to part with the land has been accompanied by disasters in our nation. We may be standing at the precipice of "peace and safety" that Paul warned us about in 1 Thessalonians 5:3....... "For when they shall say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape."
