TODAY'S WORD
The Lord is saying that the battle will be over soon, and breakthrough in all respects for me, and for those like me, is at hand. So, in advance of seeing the fruit of that victory, I shout, Hallelujah to the Lord God of the breakthrough.

More than a month ago, I boldly presented my 2005 budget for Africa missions: $80,000. So far, $7,000 has come in. Those who have given so far have expressed a desire for me to expend those funds for the water well in Kittui.

I have made progress with that situation. Really, it is more correct to say that God made progress! God has brought a man along side who has expressed his intention to train and supervise a well drilling team in Kenya, as well as provide the equipment to drill 100 wells. This was my prayer, and it is under way. I have paid for the initial survey at Kittui, and for the permit to drill, with the government of Kenya. Every place we drill a well, we will hold an evangelistic outreach. They will be called "COME TO THE WATER AND DRINK".

I have not received any money yet for the rest of the plans for evangelistic outreach. That really is not that unusual. There is always warfare against me in the month or two prior to my departure. There has been a total financial blockade against me, and it has been more severe than in the past, but the Lord has been saying that the situation is going to quickly change, and I am to write, and clearly spell out the need.

David Walukhu, my coordinator for Africa wrote today. He has met with the 30 pastors at Chwele, Western Province, Kenya. The financial need for the crusade is estimated, by David, at $10,600. I have $1,000 to send him, and fortunately, that is what he needs right now. The rest will be needed after I arrive in Africa.

We had planned to have an outreach with facilities suitable for up to 50,000 persons, for five days. When you consider the possibilities for souls to be harvested, in an area where the fields are WHITE UNTO HARVEST, $10,600 is not a big number. To me, it is a big number, but not to God.

Pastor Emmanuel Lubuula, from Kampala, Uganda also wrote me, in a bit of desperation today, as I have not sent a penny to him. He is telling me that they are planning a huge crusade and outreach for Kigali, Rwanda, which is a big city. I anticipate a need for several thousand dollars there.

God is in control. It is easy to fall victim to a bit of panic now and then. These are great men of God, and even unbelief hits them all, including me. Forgive us Lord. We know we will have all that we need.

My air tickets are paid for, by credit card, so I am definitely going to go. They cost $1,400. My debts keep mounting, but I have obeyed God. I will go if not one extra cent comes in, and we will hold home meetings if we cannot afford to do any of the big outreaches.

The big outreaches there are highly effective. The people come from a wide distance. They are hungry for Jesus. But, all the meetings are effective as well. I will go and minister somewhere, no matter what happens, in the strength of the Lord.

One man who reads these pages contacted Pastor Emmanuel Lubuula directly, and sent enough money to pay the school costs for the fifty orphans in Kampala. He also bought them new shoes and clothing. Praise the Lord.

Selina Machimbo reports that the bed I slept in for three weeks while I was in the Western Province of Kenya has come to be known as "The Healing Bed". They bring sick people into the home to lay in the bed, and they are quickly healed. Again, Praise The Lord, who is the healer. We glorify the name of Jesus.

Here is the itinerary for the next trip, from December 27, 2004, to January 21, 2005

December 29th to January 2nd 2005-meetings will be taking place at Chwele, Western Province, Kenya

January 4th to 5th, 2005-meetings at Kolongolo

January 6th to 9th, 2005-meetings at Chepsaida

January 12 to 15th, 2005-meetings at Kigali, Rwanda

January 18th to 20th, 2005-meetings at Malaha, Western Province, Kenya. This is prophet Maurice's church.

My Africa Wish List Is As Follows:

Project #1-$15,000-The Kittui water well. Received thus far: $7,000

Project #2-$5,000-Two, 250 person event tents-cost $2,500 each. I have already visited the tent manufacturer in Nairobi. We need this tent for holding bigger crusades in Kenya.

Project #3-$7,500-We need to purchase a sound system for use in the Kenya crusades. I am planning on being in Africa, four times per year. We rented the sound system for the three events we just held. We anticipate holding bigger events, and we will need a more powerful system. With the sound system, we need a generator to power it.

Project #4-$5,000-A truck for David Machimbo Walukhu, my missions coordinator, in Kenya. Right now, David has no vehicle, and travels by bus.

Project #5-$2,500-Repair for a large, panel Isuzu truck, that is currently sitting idle at Sowetto Academy, Nairobi. We will use this truck for hauling of tent and equipment.

Project #6-$5,000-Completion of the stone wall that will totally encircle Sowetto Academy. This is really needed to keep people from using walkways right through the middle of the school and orphanage. Right now, the wall is about 25% complete.

Project #7-$20,000-My estimate for the cost that it would take for Chris Ocumu to accomplish a second floor addition to the school building in Sowetto Academy.

So, there it is: $60,000 for the equipment. Add in $10,000 for my airfare and costs for four trips per year, and $10,000 for flyers and posters and $20,000 for other event costs for the 2005 outreach events and you have $100,000. Jesus says, "you have not because you ask not". I say, Lord Jesus, I Am Asking!
