TODAY'S WORD
THE MAKING OF A WOLF
March 13, 2012

Introduction: Recognizing the coming of a wolf to the flock of God.
Fifty million saints! That is the rough estimate of the number of saints of God who have been killed by spiritual leaders since Jesus went to Heaven. Who killed them? It was the pastors: the spiritual leaders. These men were called by many names: pastor, teacher, elder, deacon, pope, bishop, archbishop, cardinal etc. etc. The bible calls these men shepherds and when they were young, most probably aspired to become ministers in God’s church. Very few thought they would turn out to be ministers of Satan.

I doubt very much whether very many of them entered into pastoral ministry with the fixed plan to be killers of men, but it came upon them, over time, that they found themselves in positions where they were able to wield not only ecclesiastical authority but also the temporal power over law and order. During long times of world history, these men, in different regions of the world, and operating under differing structures, have been able to either order the killing of the saints of God by outright legal order; or they have been able to induce large groups of people to commit suicide, as happened at Jonestown, Guyana; or they have organized groups of men to kill those who have opposed them in the darkness, as it was done in the first hundred years of the Mormon church in the operations of the church assassins, also called the Danites.

There are other ways to kill that leave the body living and breathing. How many have been killed spiritually but have been left breathing? Only God knows. Ministries are aborted quite frequently in the modern church. I have seen it happen again and again. The devil loves to snuff out a growing minster before he or she can ever reach the age and experience necessary to function in the gifts and callings of God. The devil uses men to perform these spiritual abortions. Why is it so hard for a young minister to grow and why are young ministers so many times discouraged by the very churches where they were trained up and began to mature?

The bible speaks of men in the Old Testament who rip and tear the flock. Jesus called them wolves and it is recorded in John 10 that we will “see the wolf coming”. It is written that the “hireling seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth; and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.” Who are these characters that Jesus mentioned? Who is the hireling? What or who is this wolf that he will see coming? Jesus said that the “good shepherd will lay his life down for the sheep”.

In the wild, the wolf is one of the most difficult animals to hunt. His keen senses and his natural suspicion make it almost impossible to track him down or catch him unawares. Ancient societies only had success in poisoning wolves, but other animals were killed by the poison as well. Perhaps there is hope for us in modern times because, in the natural, the wolf may now be easily hunted from the air. We will seek now to rise up and sit enthroned in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, where we will follow every direction of the Holy Spirit;, where we will unmask and attack the wolf from the air. We will attack him frontally. We will confront him and not flee.

The wolf pack in the wild also frighteningly displays a characteristic that mirrors that of many of our churches where a very strong, king-like clergy leader rules. Young men who are raised up in the ministry are often chased off as no opportunities are provided for them within the ministry to sharpen their preaching gifts. No startup churches are planted for them. And so, they feel pressured to flee from the church in the same way as a young wolf flees from the wolf-pack at about one year of age. These are called “deserter wolves” in the wild. They have been tracked by scientists who have tagged them. They often travel great distances, even up to a thousand miles away from the flock they have deserted. Is this what we have seen happening in our churches as young ministers grow up and then leave?

The Conditions Of A Typical Church Where A Single Pastor Rules:
The story which follows is a tale of three elders, coequal in God's eyes but not so equal in the eye of the church here in this suburban town. The church is a small church that has been located in the same location for 35 years and we find about 35 members there. Newcomers often wonder why there has been so little growth. Those who are there seem to be very loyal and devoted to their pastor. The anointing of God is present and people are frequently healed and almost all of the teaching lines up with the word of God. The pastor is gifted with tremendous faith. The gifts of the spirit are in evidence and member participation is usually pretty good in what is called services here, as this congregation meets corporately on two days of the week. One troubling aspect is that the pastor preaches at about 90% of the meetings, while the two other men who are apt to teach preach only when he is out of town. Another cause for concern is that there is no gathering or teaching meeting for men. There is no fellowship group for men. But no one complains. Things are going along pretty well.

Even in the previous meeting a week earlier: in many previous meetings as well, the member participation was outstanding. A microphone was placed in front of the people, and one by one, they came up to pray. There was a total absence of control. What a wonderful meeting that Wednesday night meeting was; with much prayer and sharing. The previous Wednesday night, the presence of God was there so powerfully that God manifested Himself with a fragrance that seemed to register in four separately distinguishable smells. But, then came Sunday. Sunday bloody Sunday!

Everyone holds this man in the highest esteem. He counsels frequently and is generous with his time. He is a hard worker. He spends much time praying with the sick. There is not much to criticize, or so it seems to the eye. This is the way the people love their church to be. They want their pastor to be an almost God man. They want him to make all the decisions. There is a strong element of “American Idol” hero worship here. Yet no one lets it bother them very much.

This is the way it is in thousands of churches all across this land. Is this correct in God’s sight? Is this right? It doesn’t seem very evil to most. This is all they have known of church for their whole lives.

Suddenly, The Wolf Cometh:
It happens in a moment.

Some people have felt uneasy in the Holy Spirit earlier that day, as they report later: as if there was some lack of peace, but they cannot specify exactly what, if anything they are to expect. Something wicked this way comes. There was difficulty entering in to God’s presence during the worship. There was a sense that the pastor was trying to force the Holy Spirit to come and trying to lead in worship where the congregation should not go. But still, everything seems almost normal. There is nothing to overtly criticize, rebuke or resist: yet.

Then suddenly, it happens, the pastor seems as if he is another man, or perhaps, not a man at all. He is criticizing an offering; looking into the offering plate and holding up envelopes; disparaging the individual amounts. Then, it happens: he gives a command that everyone must give $100. It gets even worse from there. Some are told to be silent if they have not given the requisite amount. All sit in silent astonishment for twenty minutes that seemed like two hours. Some are quietly rebuking the devil, knowing that in some strange way, the devil has taken over their pastor’s body. People are told that he does not care if they leave the church. He says he is a prophet and that what he is doing is by the direct command of God. The message is clear: you must give the $100 or you are in great trouble with God, says the prophet.

The people sit frozen. They do not know what to do. Another offering is taken. Almost no one responds. You can see the demonic fury written all over the face of the pastor. When will this end?

One brother tries to speak, but is told to be silent, as he has given all he had, but it did not amount to $100. After one lady speaks in support of the pastor, having given the $100, all are dismissed to ponder what they have just seen and to decide their individual courses of action.

Sins Committed By The Pastor against the Church
Let us take a purely biblical approach to the things that happened on that awful Sunday. I will withhold the identity of the assembly and the names of those involved in the hopes that repentance may come and that perhaps other pastors may see themselves as wolves in the making and quickly repent.

A. Undue and improper exercise of authority by an elder in the church-Mark 10:42-45 and Matthew 20:25-28. The scripture from Mark 10:42, in the KJV, is as follows:
“Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you shall be your minister.”

B. Extreme pressure and compulsion was placed upon the church members to give-2 Corinthians 9:6-7-
“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity (NAS-or under compulsion); for God loveth a cheerful giver.”

C. Tearing of the Flock-Acts 20:28-30, as spoken by Paul to the elders of Ephesus:
“Take heed therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.”

This is a matter of MOST EXTREME concern, as it was apparently done as a demon consistently manifested in the pastor before the congregation, for a period of at least twenty minutes. A simple apology to the congregation provides no assurance that a demon or demons are not still fully resident within him.

D. Prophesying falsely-Luke 9:55-spoken to James and John, by Jesus
“But he turned, and rebuked them and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.” I do not know whether this false prophesy originated from a momentary lapse into the flesh by the pastor, or if it originated from a demon of false prophesy, fully resident within him and requiring deliverance. This must be a subject for much prayer and fasting by the elders and congregation if they are to hope for a satisfactory outcome in these matters. This is a matter of EXTREME concern.

Elder Authority For Speaking To These Matters:
Elders in the church are the only ones who possess the biblical authority to rule the church-1 Timothy 5:17
“Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.”

There are then elders who labor in the word and elders who do not. Whomever these men are, it is their biblical responsibility to rule. This should be done without partiality. One elder should be treated like every other elder. But will that happen in this case? Can this pastor be corrected by anyone?

Further Events Of The Following Wednesday
One elder, whom I will call “elder 2”, after prayer and fasting, decided to approach the pastor in the next public meeting, but to do so in such a way that only he might hear, hoping in this way to deal with these matters more privately; that if he would end the song singing, which was inappropriate in the presence of a wounded church. Perhaps in this way, the group of elder/leaders might find a way to go forward in these matters in a more private way so that the flock might not be further torn.

The Wednesday night service commenced promptly at 7:30 pm. The “worship team” began singing. Elder 2 left his seat, ascended the platform and stood in front of the pastor, with both hands stretched out to him. He was pleading with him, not giving him dictatorial orders. He said four things to him, and repeated each thing twice:

1) “I will fast and pray for you”……..”I will fast and pray for you”
2) “How can you do this singing when our brethren are at home bleeding and hemorrhaging……..repeat
3) “You need to sit down”……………”Please, you need to sit down”

The pastor then looked Elder 2 in the eye and said, “No, you need to sit down.”

Elder 2 turned to leave, but then turned around, pointed to the communion elements on our altar/table, and said,
4) “That is a table of devils”. The pastor said, “What?” Elder 2 repeated, “That is a table of devils.”

Elder 2 then turned and walked out of the building, saying goodbye as he left to many people. I do not believe anyone heard what was said by him, other than him and the pastor.

…………….The following matters of that Wednesday evening were also reported to me……….

Some who remained behind said that the pastor was asked by someone, “what did he say”, referring to Elder 2’s words, spoken to him just before Elder 2 departed. The pastor only disclosed to the congregation that Elder 2 had told him that he needed to sit down. He then commented: “Some chance that that will ever happen”. He also told the congregation that Elder 2 had called the communion cup a “cup of devils”, at which they were heard to gasp, “He said that”? He did not disclose that Elder 2 had prefaced the request with the exclamation of: “I will fast and pray for you”. He also did not inform them to Elder 2’s objection of the conduct of singing while the brethren remain at home, bleeding and hemorrhaging spiritually.

After Elder 2 left, the pastor said that he had asked God for forgiveness and that he had obtained it. He considered the matter settled. Several people joined a large group who one after another praised the pastor; said what a great man of God he was and said that they had forgiven him.

At some point, the pastor then said that on the previous Sunday, he was not going to be inquired of by the brother (who had not given the $100, but had given all he had in his pocket), and he said now, at this time, that he had (done some terrible sin in his past). This was offered as his reason, non-repentant, for telling the brother to be silent. Was this the speaking of something that had been revealed to the pastor in a previous counseling session: the betrayal of a confidential matter? I do not know.

The third preaching elder, called Elder 3, then spoke for a long period of time and entered into a detailed and spirited public rebuke of the pastor for these actions. He spoke for about twenty five minutes. He did say in the hearing of all, and I quote, “MAN, YOU RIPPED THIS THING UP”!

At some point in the evening, Communion in the body and the blood was taken by some present, but not by all. The meeting then adjourned to private discussions.

Further Sins Committed By The Pastor against the Church on Wednesday
Despising of prophecy-1 Thessalonians 5:20

“Despise not prophesyings” a very brief prophecy was given to the pastor on this night: “That is a cup of devils”.

All witnesses report to me that he ignored that prophecy and then later led the congregation to drink of that cup of devils without requiring any explanation regarding the prophetic utterance.

Cup of Devils-1 Corinthians 10:21-22
“Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?”

Discerning the body-
By despising that prophecy, the pastor exposed himself and everyone who drank from that cup of communion to possible sickness and even possible death because he failed to “discern the body”, as is required by 1 Corinthians 11:27-30
“Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.”

When we DISCERN, we are to utilize all of our senses and faculties both natural and spiritual to behold, judge and examine the Lord’s body as we stand before Him and examine ourselves. Many hold that only the body of the Lord, upon the cross, must be in their view at the time communion is taken, but He no longer hangs there, upon a cross. He is seated in heaven, as OUR HEAD, and we are HIS BODY, according to many scriptures. We are to DISCERN the body of our Lord, which is NOW the many membered body of our church.

Leaving The Altar, we are required to reconcile with the offended brother-
When we interpret the word of God, we are to use the word of God to interpret it with. There is only one place where Jesus told believers to step away from the altar: Matthew 5:23-24
“Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath aught (NAS-something) against thee; leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift”

Jesus was teaching here in a Jewish way about offerings at the temple altar. There were five types of offerings and these had different purposes, but three of them dealt with seeking the forgiveness of God for sins and the results of sin. Today, we do not think of giving an offering to obtain forgiveness, but Jesus was saying that when you come before God’s altar, seeking forgiveness, and you remember that your brother has something against you, you are to leave that altar. The context in verse 23, before the word “THEREFORE”, indicates that Jesus was speaking about things that one brother might say to another brother in an insulting way: “whosoever shall say to his brother RACA (thou fool), shall be in danger of hellfire.” These are the words of Jesus Christ.

The Communion Taking Church Exposed To Possible Illness, Or Worse
When we come before the altar for communion then, we must discern the many membered body of the Lord Jesus. We are that body!. If we remember at that time that we have said or done something to injure a brother, we are NOT TO TAKE communion. We are to go and make things right with our brother first. If we take communion and we do not discern the Lord’s body, we risk illness or death.

Mocking a previously powerless communion table-
Many of you will probably mock and say that this will never happen; that God does not do these things like He did in the first century; that no one gets sick or dies from wrongly taking communion any more.

Elder 2 gave this testimony later:
“I remind you that one hundred years ago, most in the church believed that all spiritual gifts had long since ceased their operation. I also remind you that many of us have been healed by a Lord who has come very near to us in our assembly. I myself have experienced a dramatic miraculous healing of my sinuses and my sense of smell returned after six months of total blockage. This happened less than a month ago. Additionally, not even two weeks ago, many of us simultaneously witnessed the many faceted smell of the incense and fragrance of the Lord in our Wednesday night meeting. We all agreed that it denoted that He was present. God has seemed to be drawing nearer to us recently. Additionally, I remind you that about a month ago, we commenced men’s prayer on Sunday night. I am the onl.y man to have been in attendance with the pastor for every single meeting. We have been praying for God to come even nearer to us and to show us His glory and to pour out revival.”

Reconciliation With The Offended Brother?
I am informed that finally, as of the following Sunday, the offended brother was visited and an apology was given to him. This had not been done at the time that the communion was partaken of.

How would each of you feel if you have counseled privately with a pastor feel if your darkest sins of the past and then you hear that your private conversations were broadcasted to the entire congregation? Will the apology douse any fire from heaven? Only time will tell!

Will this apology satisfy? Will it heal the torn flock? Will the wolf be cast out?

How Must All Of This Be Dealt With? Can’t We Just Forgive The Pastor/Elder And Move On?
By public rebuke of an elder, by the elders-1 Timothy 5:19-21
“Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses. Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.”

Nothing By Partiality-Elder 2 Gave This Testimony later:
“I ask you, ladies and gentlemen of the congregation, what do you believe the result would have been if I had done something similar to that which the pastor has done during the last time I was in the pulpit in late January when I spoke and taught about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit? If I had said or done anything to demand an offering or took any action that caused a couple to leave the church by personally insulting them, HOW LONG WOULD I HAVE BEEN REQUIRED TO SIT DOWN, AND TO REFRAIN FROM MINISTRY IN THIS CHURCH? Yet, the pastor said on Wednesday night that there is no chance he will ever sit down.”

Jeremiah prophesied about the clergy kings, in Jeremiah 13:16-18
“Give glory to the Lord your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness. But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord’s flock is carried away captive. Say unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down, for your principalities shall come down, even the crown of your glory.”

The Primary Concerns, In Order Of Priority, to remediate this matter (As It Should Be Done):
A. To perform the express wishes of Jesus Christ in this matter
B. To preserve the corporate anointing and corporate presence of God that we have attained to thus far, as a body of believers.
C. To reach out to our wounded brethren who have been ripped and torn in wolf-like manner in an attempt to recover them to our fellowship
D. To make every effort toward the restoration of our fallen elder/pastor, including the obtaining of his forgiveness before the father and interceding for him, that God may take him back into the company of those whom God permits to draw near unto him.
E. To endeavor to retain as many members of the body as possible in membership without compromising the word of the Lord.
F. Taking whatever action is deemed appropriate to correct the damage that has been done with the relationship with the visiting ministry and to address any possible damage to the young women who were the guests last Sunday, so that they might not think that we approve of such reprehensible behavior as a congregation and that we develop a bad reputation in the South Florida Christian Community.

The Challenge: correctly handling sins and abuses in the body/personally-Matthew 18:15-17.
This is almost never done correctly in the church or in our personally lives when people sin against us. Let the scripture be our guide and our plumb line and may the word of God trump our opinions and our feelings.

Personally, we are required to go to the offending brother. What do most do? They gossip behind the back of one another. Everything is done except that which is biblically mandated. There is a principle, established in Matthew 18, that we are not to expand the level of offense unless we have been left with no alternatives. We therefore give solemn warning, in fear and trembling before the Lord God.

Pathway To Healing
A. The elder/pastor must refrain from ministry for a season to be determined by the Holy Spirit as he speaks through the elders. A simple apology is insufficient to remediate this matter due to the gravity of the offenses and the possibility of the presence of a demon or demons in the pastor/elder that may require deliverance.
B. The other elders must minister restoration to the pastor/elder
C. The Lord may have departed from the pastor/elder. By departing, I fully mean that His glory departs along with His presence from the minister and the Lord declares ICHABOD over that particular temple of a man. We may have to plead with God to take him back. Do not think this is impossible. I am aware of an actual case where 97 elders had to fast and pray to accomplish just this very thing.
D. The church must fast and pray for all of the elders so that they may rise above the thinking and actions that are customary with men, and do the will of God. Prayer must also be enjoined to the end that all the elders will see eye to eye on doctrinal matters and walk in unity through the conclusion of these matters.

All of these recommendations have been rejected to this point in time. We now proceed to the most serious charges and warnings that place every member of the church of Jesus Christ in this place in grave danger.

The Wolf And His Pack
This may come as quite a shock to most all of you, but that which I have written about here is the approach that Jesus Christ requires to be carried out by elders when another elder turns into a wolf, and savagely rips and tears the flock of God. Most of the time, people just leave churches, hurt and offended. You may have never seen this done, but this is that which the bible requires! The true elder does not have this option to flee: not until the whole flock has been warned about what is actually occurring and what the risks are. After that, the elder can leave in peace if his rebukes and corrections are mocked and disregarded by the congregation. Be he elder, prophet or both, he will be free of their blood.

Elders who are shepherds of the flock are required not to flee, but to boldly face the wolf-John 10:11-13
“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.”

Each elder must come before the Lord when rebukes are not heeded. Each must ask if he is a shepherd of these sheep. Sometimes an elder is a teacher or a prophet, but is not a shepherd in this congregation. It must be judged case by case and the Lord will lead and direct what they are to do.

But How Can The Pastor Be A Wolf: He Is Normally Such A Fine Man?
Some of you are no doubt shocked that I have called the pastor a wolf. If it looks like a wolf and acts like a wolf and tears the flock like a wolf: it is a wolf.

I put it to you that in order for a wolf to arise, he must first be an elder; he must first have gathered the trust of many in the assembly; he must have assembled a wolf pack of those who will follow him no matter what reprehensible things he does. If the wolf were not close to you, he could not harm you. If you had no respect for the wolf, you would laugh off whatever terrible thing he did or said. If some crazy man came in the back door and said that every one of you was going to hell, it would not bother you in the slightest. That is not a wolf. A wolf is known by you. A wolf is near to you. A wolf can hurt you like nobody but family can hurt you.

A wolf, according to the bible, is a judge: someone who is expert in the law in Israel. He is a bible expert-Zephaniah 3:3
“Her princes (political leaders) within her are roaring lions; her judges (church leaders) are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow. Her prophets are light and treacherous persons; her priests have polluted the sanctuary; they have done violence to the law.”

It is a very bad sign that any pastor would verbally devour a brother on Sunday and then return to figuratively gnaw on his bones on Wednesday night: it is the true mark of a biblical wolf.

The wolf in nature will not do this. He will devour everything before morning light. But the bible hints at something different: that after an elder wolf has “made his kill”, he will openly attack again in the light.

How Can This Happen To An Elder?
How does an elder turn into a wolf? He receives wounds from attackers and from leaders. Often, he has poured out himself of his heart, hard work and resources, only to be stabbed in the back by gainsayers and evil men. He harbors bitterness and unforgiveness as a result. He fails to pray for those who have wounded him as scripture directs. He cannot then move upward from there to the position of blessing those who have cursed him. His unforgiveness has become his tombstone in the Lord. Forgiveness could have been his stepping stone. The joy of his salvation wanes. His love for the brethren grows cold as a result, even though he is still a doctor of the scripture. His trust for other leaders whom God sends is absent. He now demands the preeminence. He begins to exert inordinate control. He desires to be surrounded by those who are totally submissive to his every action. He begins to receive hero worship. He becomes suddenly and momentarily dangerous and full of terror to the flock in an hour of darkness.

Anything with two heads is a freak and a monster. We are to be a body of Jesus, with our head, Jesus, seated in heavenly places. We are to be seated with him there. We are his body, here on the Earth. If we allow any man to become an earthly, preeminent king who is ruler of all, two heads are evident and that is a freak. The Lord in heaven will disconnect, and you will be left with the earthly head you have demanded, just as Israel demanded a king of God and they were given one. We are directed in Colossians to “hold to the head”. It is a choice. Do it or do not do it!

There are other ways that a pastor-shepherd can become a wolf. Each case may vary a bit. Some are more driven by greed; some by control; some by lust for power; some by pride or lust for sex. Each case must be individually discerned.

The Wolf Pack
Those of you who followed your leader and drank of the cup of devils on that Wednesday night are part of “his wolf pack”. You are submissive to him. Just as in the wild, a wolf pack may number from 10 to 42 wolves, but there will only be one dominant “alpha-wolf”. All other wolves in the pack must crawl toward the dominant wolf on their bellies in an open and active sign of submission. When you each expressed your absolute devotion to your pastor on Wednesday night, you were affirming with a certainty that you are part of his pack.

A wolf in the wild has the keenest night-time eyesight of any of the Canidae family. He loves to attack at night: in the darkness. He can attack and kill a larger animal if that animal runs away, but he is usually not able to do so if he is faced down by a large animal who stands its’ ground. A wolf will flee from a man who appears to be armed.

A wolf in the wild is usually monogamous, remaining faithful to one mate! Cannibalism is not uncommon among wolves during a harsh winter. A wolf, after having made a kill, can fast and go without food for a long time. Two weeks without food will not weaken his muscle activity.

God mentioned the wolf 13 times, in 12 independent scriptures in the bible. The wolf in indicated in several places to be a metaphor for the apostate elder/church leader. I did not invent this metaphor: God is the author!

Examine yourselves to see if you are part of the wolf pack! How could you even consider drinking the body and blood of the Lord when at least eight of your brethren are hurting? Why did you do that? How could you sing the songs of Zion in the midst of such tragedy? I am afraid of you.

The Terrible Cases Of Wolf Attack
I have been in churches of various flavors and varieties for 43 of the 55 years of my life. I have been involved, both directly and indirectly, in a total of eleven church crisis situations, including this one.

Unfortunately, I have gained much unwanted experience in this pain. This is the very worst event that I have seen, first hand, in the church of Jesus Christ in my entire life, though I have heard about others that are even much worse. This cannot be healed with a band-aid of untempered mortar. The wall is ready to collapse. Wake up!

I have heard of one case where a pastor seduced more than twenty women congregants into sexual relationships over a period spanning twenty five years!

Blood Of The Saints In A Communion Cup
Do you not know that when you take of the communion cup, you are a sharer in all things? You are a partaker (Greek Sugkoinoneo). That is right. You share all things in common. Whatever the condition of the body is at that point, you will drink it down if you do not discern the body. If all is good and right as it should be, the blood of Jesus will be in that cup. If the blood of the saints has been shed in the assembly, then other blood will be in the cup.

The blood of the bleeding brethren was in that cup Wednesday night! I speak as a prophet of the Lord. You drank of the fruit of the kill! Woe to you! Do you not know that the harlot of Revelation 17 has a cup: Revelation 17:4
“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.”

Verse 6 finishes the thought and reveals what is inside of that golden cup:
“And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration”

I say with the greatest of emphasis: REPENT!

Has This Happened Before In This Place?
I am left to wonder how many times this cycle is going to be repeated. How many times in the life of this church has this already happened? Is this the reason why the church is so small after all of these years?

What Happens Now?
It is the same in this case as it was in the days of Israel of old in the days of Samuel. The people desired a king and the thing grieved the prophet Samuel greatly. God spoke to Samuel and told him that it had not been Samuel whom they had rejected, but they had rejected the Lord.

Jesus is the designer of His church. He is the one who called for it to have only one head: Himself. There is to be only one king: Jesus. We are told that we must “hold to the head”. That head is not to be an earthly pastor. Yet, this is the way the people want their church to function. They want one man to be their clergy king.

God spoke to Samuel that he was to warn the people about this king they had asked for. Later on, when they would complain about the bad things this king would do to them, God would not listen to them. God told them that He would not listen to their prayers.

It is the same today. God will not hear your prayers when you complain about the sins of your clergy kings. When the wolf comes and tears you again, God will not hear you. You have received that which you have wanted. God has given you the desire of your hearts.

And so, God tells his prophet to be silent. He is not to rebuke the people, or enter into a bold display of God’s power or make a public fuss. God simply tells His prophet to record the event in anonymous form, and move on, so that others may learn about that which is happening and has been happening in God’s Church.

Elder 2 has left the church with his family. He has seen all of this before and knows what has happened. He knows the ways of the wolf.

Elder 3 is younger and is still puzzled by all that has transpired. He is not yet ready to accept that the pastor he has known for so many years is a wolf.

The pastor is left alone as the single clergy king with this congregation: the single alpha wolf with his pack. All challengers to his rule have been chased away.

The wolf departs from view, and we are left, once again, with the appearance of a kind and benevolent pastor, who shepherds his little flock that he has faithfully, or at least that is how it looks, watched over for more than thirty years. The wolf has returned to his lair to lay unnoticed and out of sight. He is, after all, the most difficult of God’s creatures to hunt. He is elusive and he does not need to eat frequently. He will remain dormant and out of view until challengers appear again. How long will this take? Only God knows.

One day, Jesus Christ will come. He will come to destroy the thing that calls itself His church, but it is a “THING”. In that day, mystery Babylon will be devoured by those nations upon whom she has ridden. Her cup will be cast down. All who have not come out of her will be partakers of her sins. All who have drunken the wine of her abominations will now drink from the wine of the wrath of God.

“Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her; for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see now sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire; for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.”

Daniel saw a day coming in the future in Daniel 7:9 when “thrones were cast down”. Then, the ancient of days did sit. On that day, when the thrones of the men of Earth are cast down, all the crowns that they have placed on their heads will come crashing down to the ground. This will include all the kings of Earth: not only the political kings but also the clergy kings. Only those elders crowned by God in heaven will remain as crowned, and even those will cast their crowns at the feet of the Lamb who purchased them with His blood.

I have gently warned this earthly clergy king that he must remove his crown, step down from his throne and share rule equally with all the elders whom the Lord my God will send. He has refused and hardened his heart. Jesus will now cast down his throne and remove his crown at the day appointed. I now warn all of you other clergy kings: REMOVE YOUR CROWNS NOW! STEP DOWN FROM YOUR THRONES NOW! Jesus is coming.

Conclusion
I have a biblical duty to warn all when I see the danger approaching. You are advised to be prudent men, and to take precautions. Your blood will not be on my hands. I have not fled from the wolf, but I have openly confronted him with the truth of the word of God. I now rest to see if a church arises alive and strong from the emergency room gurney, or if I am to leave a wolf pack behind and dust off my feet on the way out the door. The final decisions must rest with those who must either humble themselves and sit down, or rush onward to their own peril and eventual destruction.

I hope for a great miracle. That which is impossible with men is possible with God. The greatest opportunity for a miracle comes when God’s elders obey him fully, as I have done. NOTHING of this situation has been swept under the rug. We will never be the same should we survive this as a body. Never again should it ever be tolerated that one elder will be allowed to preach on 88% of the meeting days of the church, but I know that it probably will continue like this in many venues, all around this world. This is an abomination! All elders who are apt to teach must be given room to exercise their God given gifts. I will never go back to that which has gone before, but I may be led unawares by the Lord into other wolf packs around the world. We must move onward and upward from here. If we are to survive as a living body, we must thrive and prepare the way for the coming of the Lord.

Regardless, I have stated my position against the enemies of God. I say again, REPENT, and see if the Lord will set all of this aside. I am a witness against the evil and my witness is true. Let now the Lord of all judge these matters as He deems right. May He set this matter right and heal His body here, which is our temple and the place of His dwelling among us, in the name of Jesus Christ. And even if He does not, here I stand, abiding still in my beloved; awaiting His return; trusting that His ways are always right.
