Prophecy: America's Days Of Noah-A "Twitterized" People

TODAY'S WORD I really detest Facebook and Twitter! I mean, I began to use them for ministry purposes in 2015 because that is what the younger generation (and some of the older one too) are spending their time reading. I use these social media websites to distribute parts of revelation the Lord gives me in the hope that someone will see the word there, be quickened by the Holy Spirit and click the link through to read the whole article on my website. Every few days, however, I check for messages there, or to see if anyone has clicked the "like" button on what few posts I make on Facebook. One was clicked yesterday by Andy Zoppelt. He has some insight into what is going on with "Church" today and he knows that God is not pleased with it. Well, at the top of my news-feed, Andy had posted this little comment about prophets: “Oh God, send us a real prophet, one that is really anointed, one that doesn't care for the title or money, but your heart. I am weary of these men putting things together and coming up with these money-making predictions. Oh God send us men and women to put us on our knees, a weeping in repentance and a movement filled with the Holy Spirit. Our clergy has Your body in bondage to their ministries, their buildings, their debts and their salaries. Send us a Moses to deliver us and set us free from these ungodly workings called churches.” My prayer! From what I can see, it seems that people are reading NOTHING else but Facebook and the Tweets. So far, I see no evidence that anyone new has been reached by this method of mine, but I believe the Holy Spirit led me in this endeavor, so I will continue to post excerpts from my articles on Facebook and Twitter, even though I despise these websites for what I believe they have done to our people: our people do not read any more. What they do "read" is tailor made for them by Facebook. People are reading less and less analysis that presents contrary points. They tend to read what they already believe as Facebook presents the attitudes and writings of their friends. This morning, I noted that Matt Drudge, founder of Drudge Report, feels the same way I do about it. He is quoted on infowars.com: “I don’t know why they’ve been successful in pushing everybody into these little ghettos, these Facebooks, these Tweets, these Instagrams,” Drudge said on The Alex Jones Show. “This is ghetto, this is corporate; they’re taking your energy and you’re getting nothing in return.” I recently was in the shop of a previously productive auto mechanic. I have noticed that his work is backing up lately. I sat in the shop on this particular day and watched as he spent more than two hours looking at his Facebook news-feed, skimming along through hundreds of posts on the feed. This man has hundreds of "friends". Apparently, he has little time left to work on cars, let alone read anything else. I do not read the Facebook News-feed. Anyone who visits my Facebook page can see that I have fewer friends there (about 30), than almost anyone else. And with even so few friends, it would take me hours each day to even speed read what my "friends" put on Facebook. I tried to do it for about two weeks and I then felt the leading of the Lord to stop it because I want to continue to really READ, including the reading of things and arguments that I disagree with. Scientists say this: "Humans, they warn, seem to be developing digital brains with new circuits for skimming through the torrent of information online. This alternative way of reading is competing with traditional deep reading circuitry developed over several millennia." This, according to a Washington Post article. “I worry that the superficial way we read during the day is affecting us when we have to read with more in-depth processing,” said Maryanne Wolf, a Tufts University cognitive neuroscientist and the author of “Proust and the Squid: The Story and Science of the Reading Brain.” Claire Handscombe has a commitment problem online. Like a lot of Web surfers, she clicks on links posted on social networks, reads a few sentences, looks for exciting words, and then grows restless, scampering off to the next page she probably won’t commit to. “I give it a few seconds — not even minutes — and then I’m moving again,” says Handscombe, a 35-year-old graduate student in creative writing at American University. But it’s not just online anymore. She finds herself behaving the same way with a novel. So, in my first answer to brother Andy, I would say that people have been trained by Facebook and Twitter to read differently. That means they do not really read their bible, word for word any more, but they scan it. They do the same with prophecy, even when it is placed on Facebook as an excerpt. As a result, these people have become even harder and harder for God to reach. God speaks to people with His word and people have about a 15 second attention span for word today. It is becoming, I believe, increasingly unlikely that people will repent and weep based upon reading the writings of any compelling, real prophet where they might have to read, or listen to a word for more than 15 seconds or two or three lines of material. Likewise, Christians will not be moved to hit their knees. In short, God's people have been "Twitterized". This morning, my wife wrote something about the "Days Of Noah". The Holy Spirit quickened within me regarding this subject and the warnings that God has given to America. I began to wonder just how long God has been sending real prophets to America, warning America about the oncoming DAY OF THE LORD and the judgement to come. I also thought about the Zoppelt Facebook post from above, yearning for God to send a real prophet and I considered that God has been sending REAL PROPHETS to America for a very long time, but for how long? Oh yes, the enemy has sent innumerable false ones that have appeared like clutter on our radar screens, but God has sent the true ones. I began to ponder the question. Certainly, God has been sending real prophets, but, in deference to Andy, these prophets have not successfully "put us on our knees", though many, including myself, have tried to accomplish this. They have not managed to spark true repentance. The church of our generation remains like a cake not turned (Hos 7:8) A more contemporary version presents these verses as: Hos 7:8 The people of Israel have mixed with foreigners; they are a thin piece of bread scorched on one side. Hos 7:9 They don't seem to realize how weak and feeble they are; their hair has turned gray, while foreigners rule. Hos 7:10 I am the LORD, their God, but in all of their troubles their pride keeps them from returning to me. Another answer to Andy's plaintiff cry and desire seems to also be that God has prophetically indicated that, regarding our generation, there will be no great revival; no great turning at the time of the end. The very night God revealed to me that He had called me to the office of prophet, He said, "I have called you after the order of Jeremiah". God began to give me revelation in 1991. My ministry will continue to at least 2031-2 if I am to have a 41 year prophetic ministry like the one Jeremiah had, yet that length of time is a mere drop in the bucket in comparison to the apparent 120 year ministry of warning that God gave to Noah. That is a VERY LONG ministry in human terms. Genesis 6 seems to imply that Noah had 120 years advance warning that God was going to destroy the Earth with a flood and God appears to have given him that amount of time to construct the ARK. It says in one place that God waited patiently and with long suffering for Noah to finish the ARK. The bible does not clearly indicate that Noah had any human help to construct it. Any of you who have ever built any type of building at all know that to build something alone is a VERY HARD thing to do. Perhaps this is why the project appears to have taken 120 years. Scripture also says that Noah was a preacher. Apparently he preached while he worked. If we are to conclude that his preaching was primarily prophetic and we have it right from the preceding parts of GENESIS, there had been no rain up unto that time. Here, in beholding Noah, his parishioners were listening to a prophet, who was working solo style (apparently) for 120 years, preaching while he worked, building a large ship in the middle of dry land, far from the sea. He must have appeared to be a lunatic and this had to be more and more evidently apparent to onlookers as the years passed, so that as time dragged on and on, I can imagine that the mockery and scorn had to be increasing geometrically. We know that in return for 120 years of prophetic preaching and ARK building, Noah raised up no converts other than his wife and children and their spouses. Considering my experiences in contrast, Noah had better results than I have had here in America. God never said anywhere that in the last days, it would be as it was in the days of Jeremiah! God did say in Matthew chapter 24 that it would be "as it was in the days of Noah". This might very well imply up to 120 years of advance warning and certainly implies a very long period of prophetic warning. I have, available on my website, an online book called USA Prophet, Prophetess and Saints. This book is a collection of the work of many prophets who have prophesied concerning the last days and the end times. USA Prophet, Prophetess & Saints I did a quick perusal of these articles today and noticed one very interesting thing. There were many in the 1700's and 1800's who had prophetic words, visions and revelations regarding America. Among them, I would list William Booth (Salvation Army) and George Washington, But these saw nothing of judgements singling out America at the time of the end in any way that would be a definite warning of disaster. Anton Johansen, the Norwegian seer, did see trouble coming to the American Gulf States up the Mississippi Valley, even up to the Great Lakes in the form of an unusual land hurricane in a vision he saw in the late 1800's, but he was not an American and did not prophesy in English. His warnings were eventually translated into English at a later date. Looking for just when an American or an English speaking person first received warnings from God, I find the translated writings of a Russian monk, as they were published by the End Times Handmaidens, translated to English in what appeared to be 1911, warning that "America will feed the world and then will finally collapse". This brief and simple alert seems first, and was then followed in 1927 by Jesse Blakely, a Californian, who prophesied in much detail about erosion in the Godly lifestyle of Americans and the judgements that would follow. 1929 marked the receipt by A.C. Valdez of a vision in which he saw an ICBM hitting Berkeley, California. This vision came before the first V-2 missiles were fired by Germany in WW2. I conclude that God began to send prophets of warning to America between 1911 and 1930. The 1930's marked the sending by God of Joe Brandt, who had a detailed vision in 1937 of a future rupture of the San Andreas fault earthquake fault zone in California that has not happened yet, even until this day. Now, if I take one further step, and extrapolate out to what appears to be my revelatory terminus, 2031-2032, I can see that at about the time I reach 40 to 41 years in the ministry of the office of prophet, God will have been warning America through real prophets for 100-120 years, just as it was in the days of Noah! Perhaps it is simply a function of human nature. People have a very short memory. Who today remembers the words of Anton Johansen, A.C. Valdez, Jesse Blakely or Joe Brandt. They are long dead and their manuscripts are laden with dust in various libraries. Other prophets, still alive like me, seem to be attracting fewer and fewer readers and listeners, because to the people, it seems as though we have been saying the same things for a very long time, and still the dollar is spent at the store and life goes on, much as it has before. All things continue on in much the same way as they have since the Great Depression which began in 1929. The longer the relative peace and tranquility of the present continues, the fewer are the number of those who will hearken unto a prophetic warning. Now, when you factor in the changes to reading, comprehension and attention span that have taken place in these first two decades of the twenty first century, it is clear to me that I am now sent to a people who absolutely will neither listen nor hearken to any warning from the Lord. I have had literal fire issue forth from my hand, sent out by God. It made no real difference. I have been associated with many instantaneous miracles. Still, no one listens. I do not expect that if God had me raise men from the dead, that my experience would be much changed. No one trusts a video or a picture anymore: Computer animation can present almost any event and video editing can alter any picture. Sound editing has done the same for recorded words. Written stories are subject to much unbelief as human witnesses are notoriously unreliable. In short, we are now a people unreachable, unteachable and immovable. God has been sending real prophets! He has been sending them for a very long time! God's people have not been listening. The apparent indication from the "Noah" prophecy is that they will not listen, and the flood will come and take them all away. None will hearken unto the real prophets and enter the ARK of protection, which, in these days, as it has always been at all times, is obedience to revealed word of the Lord. Stephen L.
