Funeral Services To Be Held From Home Wednesday Morning
Albert Woolford, 47, a resident of Livingston county, south of Streator, since his birth, died at his home on Route 2, at 5:55 Sunday morning, following an illness, resulting from complications.
He was born in Coalville, the little pioneering hamlet south west of Streator, February 8, 1888 to Josiah and Catherine Woolford. His marriage with Cora May Reed occurred November 29, 1911, and they became the parents of six children, one of whom, Harriet, preceded her father in death.
He leaves his wife and the following children: Frank and Arthur of Streator, Mrs. Catherine Freese of Ransom, and Harry and Alberta at home. He also leaves two half-sisters, Mrs. Sadie Babington of Sparland and Mrs. Nora Robinson of this city. One brother, Benjamin Woolford of this city is also left are two half brothers, Benjamin Woolford of Streator and George Cook of Coulterville. There are three grandchildren.
Mr. Woolford conducted a barber shop at 716 S. Bloomington street for a number of years.
Funeral services will be held from the home Wednesday morning at 10:30 o’clock, and interment will follow in the Long Point cemetery. Rev. N. B. Quigg will officiate.
