Catherine Wolford Died of Old Age

Was 99 Years Old Last May-Was Born in Pennsylvania-
Three Sons and Four Daughters Living-Became
Resident in This City in 1864-Funeral Tomorrow.
Mrs. Catherine Wolford of 204 South Fifth Street
died of old age at 8 o’clock last night. She had
been confined to her bed for five weeks.
Had Mrs. Wolford lived until May 4, next year, she
would have been a centenarian. She was born in
Pennsylvania. Her maiden name was BOYER. Her
husband died in 1872.
Seven Children.
Three sons and four daughters survive her-Fred
(Jacob) of Marseilles, Henry of Cardiff, Joseph
(Josiah) of Millstone, Wis., Mrs. Sadie KEFFER of
Pennsylvania, Mrs. Nancy Wyatt of Ohio, Mrs.
Maggie Crew of the West Side, and Catherine
Woodford, residing out west.
The deceased came here from Pennsylvania in 1864.
The funeral services will be held at 10:30 tomorrow
morning at the Church of Christ, West Side. The
body will be buried in Moon (Moons Point) cemetery.
