MRS. ELIZA REED
Old Resident of Ancona Dies At Hospital
End came at 7 o’clock This Morning After Long Illness – Husband Dead 10 Years – Leaves Two Children – Born in New Jersey – Married in Ohio.
Mrs. Eliza Reed, of Ancona, after a long illness with cancer, died this morning at 7 o’clock at St. Mary’s hospital in this city.
Mrs. Reed was born February 6, 1829, in the state of New Jersey and about 1857 – soon after her marriage to Daniel Reed in Ohio, moved to Ancona with her husband. There he died about ten years ago.
Mother of Seven Children.
Mrs. Reed was the mother of seven children, five of whom are dead. Those surviving are Frank of Ancona and Daniel of Hebron, Ill.
The funeral will probably be held Monday afternoon, although that has not been definitely settled. The internment will be made in Ancona cemetery.
