William WILLAVIZE, aged 82 years, a well-known retired farmer, of Rutland township, died Tuesday at the family home after a short illness of heart trouble. Sixteen years ago Mr. Willavize retired from active farming and moved into Ottawa, 31 W. Madison St., where he has since resided. He was born in (Wiltshire) England, 3 Dec. 1873 and came to the US to make his home when but 21 years of age. A short time later he settled in Rutland township. He was know to practically all the old residents of the county. His marriage to Mary MESSERSMITH took place in Rutland in 1863. Surviving he leaves his wife and 5 children: Mrs. F. C. ZURKEE, of Marshall, MI; Mrs. D.L. HUNT, of Orange, CA; H. G. WILLAVIZE and William WILLAVIZE of Streator.

William Willavize Succumbs to Infermities of Old Age
Mrs. Frank Reed, of 508 Livingston street, recieved word this morning of the death of her father, William Willavize of 632 West Madison Street, Ottawa. No particulars were given.
Mr. Willavize was born in England in 1837, and came to this country when he was ten years of age. He lived on a farm near Streator (IL) until he retired from farm life about thirty years ago when he moved to Ottawa where he has since resided.
