What A Coincidence!!! Chapter Tweleve

“Steve get in here right now!!” I yelled out of the door to my hotel room to one of the boys’ managers.

“What? What’s the matter?” Steve said with a worried look on his face.

“I just got a tip from off of the internet that a radio station in Germany is saying that BSB is breaking up.” I said back.

“Are you sure? Which radio station? Do you know?” Steve asked.

“I’m not sure, but I’ll find out, and I’ll get back to ya.”

"As soon as you find out I’ll make the call and straigten this whole thing out.” Steve said.

“Okay, I’ll give ya a ring.” I said back.

Just as Steve went out the door he turned back me and asked, “Hey Araysa, you aren’t pregnant are you?”

“No, why would you ask that?” I asked back.

“Just checking, I don’t know if I could deal with anymore crisises, my schedule’s full.” Steve said with a laugh.

“Yea, I know what you mean. Don’t worry everything works out. The Boys’ last management had a break-up scare too and they got through it.” I said.

“Thanks, you know at first I was worried about all of you girls coming on tour, but now I’m really glad you are here.” Steve said with a content look.

“You’re welcome. Hey, if you see Nick today will you tell him to come up and say hi or something. I think he’s dead.” I said.

“Will do. It’s a busy day today as you know, so you might not see the guys until the concert tonight.”

“Yea, I know, that’s how it was last night, the day before, the day before that, and the day before that.” I said sadly.

Steve just shrugged his shoulders and took off. I turned back around to my laptop and continued with my work. As I was clicking away at the keyboard I thought more and more about what I said to Steve, I never got to see Nick. I saw him when we traveled and for a half an hour before each concert. After the concert Nick was usually too tired to go anywhere or do anything. We were three months into the tour and I was starting to crack. I hadn’t talked to the other girls since last night and I didn’t know how they had felt. I got up and walked down the hallway to Mandy’s room. I knocked on the door and waited to see if she was there.

“Come in.” I heard Mandy yell from inside.

I opened the door and walked in.

"Hey Race!! What’s up?” Mandy asked?

“Nothing much, I just came in here to talk. Got a minute.” I asked back.

“Yea, what’s the matter? You don’t look very happy.” Mandy said as she motioned me to sit down.

“Well, I’ve got a problem. I think I’m going to take a break from the tour, from Nick, from everything.” I said.

“Why, what’s going on? How come you didn’t tell me this before?” Mandy asked with concern.

“I just realized it right now after I got done talking with Steve. Mandy, I never see Nick. I mean I see him when we are traveling and stuff but I never really get to spend anytime with him, just him.” I said.

“I know what you mean. I hardly ever see Brian. But we knew this going into this. Did you guys have a fight or something?” Mandy asked.

“No, we didn’t. Not at all. It’s just that I can’t handle it anymore. I can’t handle the fans and the nasty things they say. I can’t handle the fact that I don’t see Nick, I can’t handle any of it. I really think it would be best if I took some time off. The tour comes to Minneapolis in month. I’ll meet up with you guys then and maybe it will be better.” I said.

“Well, are you going to discuss it with Nick first? I know how much he loves you and he would want to be part of your decsion.” Mandy said.

“Yes, I’m going to talk to Nick tonight after the concert. I will talk to him before he falls asleep. If all goes well, I would like to be on a plane home tomorrow or the next day. I think the biggest part of all this is that I miss home. I miss my mom and dad Mandy.” I said starting to cry.

“I know, I miss them too.” Mandy said as she started to cry also.

Just then Molly came in the room.

“What’s going on? Why are you guys crying?” Molly said.

“Molly, I’m leaving the tour for a bit.” I said.

“What, why are you doing that?” Molly asked.

“Because I just think it would be best if I took a break. I’m starting to crack and I can’t handle it anymore. I’m going to meet up with the tour when you come to Minneapolis in a month. I still have to discuss it with Nick, but I’m hoping that after I talk to him that he will understand. This will be a break from the fans, the media, Nick, and everything else that this tour has thrown at me. If I see my name come up on a BSB email list again I’m going to scream.” I said starting to yell.

“Calm down Araysa, it’s going to be okay. I understand how you feel. If you think that a break will help, I’ll support you. You really do need to discuss it with Nick first.” Molly said as she gave me a hug.

“I know, I will discuss it with Nick. I just don’t know how to tell him. I do not want to break up with him. I just need a break.” I said starting to get up, “I have to get ready for the concert. So I’ll talk to you guys in the van.”

“Yep, see ya in a few. It’s going to be okay, you’ll see.” Mandy said.

“Yea, don’t worry. Everything works out.” Molly said in agreement.

“Thanks guys.” I said. I gave Molly and Mandy each a hug and then went back to my room so I could get ready.

As soon as I was ready I made my way down to the vans. The guys were already at the venue so us girls piled into one of the rental vans and we made our way to the arena. The van pulled around to the back where the buses and semis were. There were quite a few fans back there so the driver had to manuver the van between them. I looked out the window and sighed. I knew what I was doing was right. If I was to keep my sanity I needed the break. Earlier back at the hotel after I got ready I made my plane reservations to fly back home tomorrow. All of my plans had been made except I still had to tell the most important person in my life that I would be leaving for a bit. As soon as the van made it to the back doors we got out and quickly made our way inside the venue.

We got to the back and set all of our stuff down. I went out to the arena to see if I could talk to Nick for a bit. I was walking around and saw I Mindi, the boys’ saxaphonist.

“Hey, Mindi. Have you seen Nick?” I asked.

“Yea, he’s over there.” Mindi said back pointing to the other side of the stage.

“Thanks, talk to ya later.” I said as I walked over to Nick.

“Hey, how’s it going?” Nick said as he spotted me.

“Fine, how are you?” I said as I gave him a quick kiss.

“Oh, Steve told me you were feeling kind of down.” Nick said back.

“Yea, a little I guess.” I said.

“What’s the matter?” Nick asked.

“Don’t worry about. We’ll discuss it later, after the concert.” I said.

“Are you sure?” Nick said with concern.

“Yea, don’t worry.” I said.

“Okay, ready to go backstage so I can get ready?” Nick said with a smile.

“Sure, let’s go.” I said.

Nick and I walked hand in hand backstage. I loved him so much, I didn’t have any idea how I was going to tell him that I was leaving for a bit. I pushed the thoughts out of my mind for the time being.

We got backstage and the guys got ready while us girls and a few others hung out. We were talking for a while and then all the guys and the dancers came in the room to do the prayer and chant. As soon that was done, we made our way down front for the concert.

After the concert was done, we piled into vans and made our way back to the hotel. When we got there Mandy and I made our way up to our rooms. Molly and Ashley hung back with the guys as they were signing autographs. As I was about to get on the elevator a girl around 13 or 14 stopped me.

“Hey, your Araysa, Nick’s girlfriend, right?” she asked with a smile.

She was so cute I couldn’t help but smile back.

“Yea, I am. What’s up?” I asked.

“I think you are so cool, could I get your autograph maybe?” she asked as she thrusted out a picture of Nick that he had signed, “Could you sign it right by Nick’s name?”

“Sure, that’s not a problem.” I said as I signed the picture by Nick’s name.

“Thank you so much. I wish you luck with Nick. I hope that you make him happy, and more importantly that he makes you happy.” the girl said as she walked away.

“See you can handle the fans. Look at what you just did. You totally made that girl’s day.” Mandy said.

“I know, but that was one fan out of the thousands that have been nasty to us.” I said, “Don’t try to change my mind. I’ve already made travel plans. Now I just have to tell Nick.” I said.

“I’m not trying to change your mind. You do what you need to do. We all will miss you, even if it is only for a month.” Mandy said as she gave me a hug.

“I’m going to up to my room. My plane leaves at 10:00 tomorrow morning. I will come and say goodbye before I leave. I asked Mike if he’ll drive me to the airport and he said he would drive me there and help me get on the plane.” I said.

“Okay, I’ll talk to ya then. Good luck with Nick. I believe that he will understand. I don’t know if he’s gonna like it, but he’ll at least understand.” Mandy said before we parted ways to go to our rooms.

I walked into my room and sat on the bed waiting for Nick to come up. I was laying there for a bit when I heard the voices of all the guys, Molly, and Ashely. I got up and went out to the hallway.

“Hey, there you are. I was wondering where you went.” Nick said as he kissed me on the cheek.

“Yea, I decided to come right up to the room. Do you wanna come in for a bit?” I said motioning for Nick to come into my room.

“Sure, you seem really down. Is everything okay?” Nick asked.

“Well, I do have a slight problem. But I’m hoping that I can straigten it out. Why don’t we sit down?” I said as I sat on my bed.

Nick sat down next to me and took my hand. I could tell by the look on his face that he was becoming more concerned by the second. So I just decided to come right out and tell him.

“Nick, I’m leaving the tour.” I said.

“What!?! Why!?! You can’t!” Nick said as tears welled up in his eyes.

“It’s only going to be for a month. I have to do this Nick. I’m starting to crack. The fans, not seeing you, the media, everything. I just really need a break.” I sobbed, “Please don’t cry Nick, it’s going to be okay. I do not want to break up with you. I’m just taking a break. I miss home. I miss my mom and dad.” I continued.

“Please don’t go Araysa. I need you. You know how happy I am when I see your face? I know that we don’t get to see each other all the time but when we do see each other, I can’t describe how I feel when you are with me.” Nick said.

“I have to go Nick. My plane leaves tomorrow at 10:00am. I will call you when I get home. I will meet up with the tour in a month when you come to Minneapolis.” I said.

“I’m going to call you everyday you know. I don’t totally understand why you are doing this, but if this is what you need to do I can’t argue with you.” Nick said.

“Nick, thank you for letting me do this. Now, will you stay with me tonight?” I asked as I leaned in for a kiss.

“Yes, I will stay with you.” Nick said as he returned the kiss.

That night, Nick and I made love all night. I knew that I was going to miss him a lot. Just like Mandy said, even if it was only for a month.
