I woke up the next morning to shrill of the alarm. I sat up and realized that this was the day that we had to leave to go back to Minnesota. My body went limp and and I fell back onto the bed. Nick woke up and rolled over on top of me.
“What’s the matter baby?” he asked.
“We have to leave today. I don’t want to go home.” I said back.
“I know, I don’t want you to go either but it’s something that has to happen. I know that we can deal with it.” Nick as he gave me a kiss.
Soon, that one kiss turned into something more. Before we knew it I had my clothes off and was ready to take Nick’s off too. My mind told me that I shouldn’t do this yet but my heart told me it was okay. I gave into my heart. I pulled Nick’s boxers off and he grabbed a condom off of the end table. We started out slow just enjoying each other. Before long we gained speed. Nick came just as I did and I let out a scream. I fell down on top of Nick and we just layed there for a few seconds when we heard a knock on the door. I flew off of Nick and quick put my PJ’s back on. Nick got up out of bed and ran to the bathroom. I walked over to the door and opened it up. There standing at the door was one of the Backstreet Boys’ managers.
“Where’s Nick?” He asked sternly.
“He’s in the bathroom why?” I asked.
“Tell him when he comes out that we need to talk. Have him come down to the living room okay.” He said then turned around and walked down the hallway.
I closed the door and wondered what this was all about. I hope that he wasn’t going to get in trouble because of me. I knocked on the bathroom door and told him the coast was clear. Nick came out and put his arms around my waist and gave me a big kiss.
“Umm...that was Steve, one of your managers, he said to tell you that you are supossed to go down to the living room because he needs to talk to you.” I said
“I wonder what’s going on. Let me get dressed, I want you to come with me in case it concerns you too.” Nick said back.
We both got dressed and made our way down to the living room. We walked in and all of the managers and Denise were sitting on the couchs. They all looked up when we walked in and motioned for us to sit down. We both sat on the empty couch and Nick took my hand in his.
“Hi, Nick, hi Araysa, the reason we called you in here is because we need to discuss your guys’ relationship and how serious it’s getting.” Steve said.
“What are you talking about?” Nick asked starting to get angry.
“Well, we all know that you and Araysa are having sex and we are just concerned about it.”
“You guys are not my mother, you are my managers. This is none of your business.” Nick yelled.
“Nick, it’s okay. I think I know why you guys are so concerned. You guys don’t want me to get pregnant that’s it.” I said.
“Yes, we are concerned about that. You know how hard a child would be to keep a secret. The Paparazzi are having a heyday as it is with the guys having girlfriends.” Denise said.
“You don’t have to worry about that. Araysa is on the Pill and we always use condoms. I can’t believe I’m even discussing this with you. I’m 19 years old now, I’m not 13 years old anymore. I can take care of myself. Besides I’m going to marry Araysa someday.” Nick said.
I looked at him with wide eyes. I know that the night before he gave me a promise ring but now I know he was really serious. He just told all of his managers that I was the one that he wanted to marry. I had never been happier in my enitire life. I took Nick’s hand again and squeezed it. He looked down at me and smiled.
“Okay, now that we have that taken care of. Araysa, your flight is at 1:30pm so if you and the other girls could start bringing your stuff down to the lobby that would be great. We’ll get it loaded up so you can get on your way.” Denise said.
“Okay, I tell the others.” I said as I started to get tears in my eyes.
Nick and I walked back down the hallway. We got into our room and I started to bawl. I didn’t want to leave Nick, I didn’t know how I would be able to live without him.
“Oh, Araysa I hate to see you cry.” Nick said as he started to cry too.
“I can’t help it Nick, I love you.” I sobbed.
“I love you too, but we both knew that we would have to deal with this if we were going to be a couple.” Nick sobbed back.
“I know, I know. It still hurts.” I said starting to calm down.
“Don’t worry, I’ve asked if you could come on tour with us this summer.” Nick said.
“What?? Are you serious??” I yelled as I gave Nick a big hug.
“Yep, and Mandy, Molly, and Ashley are all invited too.” Nick said.
“That is so cool. I won’t be able to stand waiting for that.” I said.
“You’ll be able too. Besides, there are other award shows that I want you to be with me at.” Nick.
“I love you Nick, so much. You have no idea.” I said.
“Oh yes, I do.” Nick said as he pulled me in for a sweet long kiss.
After Nick and I were done kissing I went back over to mine and Mandy’s room. Mandy and Brian were laying on the bed. Mandy had her head laying on Brian’s stomach as he was playing with her hair. They both sat up just as I walked in the room.
“Hey girl, how’s it going?” Mandy asked.
“Okay, do you have your stuff packed? We have to take it too the lobby.” I said.
“Yep, it’s downstairs. Molly and Ashley already have their stuff down there too.
“Cool, well I’m packed I just have to bring it down to the lobby.” I said as I reached for my bag.
As soon as I was done bringing my stuff down to the lobby we all got into the limo and made our way to the airport. We were all pretty silent on the way to the hotel. Molly looked over at me and smiled. I smiled back. She looked down at my hand and must of noticed the new ring on my finger. She looked back up at me and mouthed “I like the ring.” When we got to the airport all of the guys helped us with our luggage and made our way to our gate. We had about an hour before our flight left so all of us decided to walk around with our guys and meet up back at the gate when we could start to board the plane.
Nick and I decided to go to a small coffee shop and talk. I ordered a cafe mocha and Nick ordered a regular coffee. When we got our drinks we found a small table in the back and sat down.
“So, this is it for a while huh?” I asked.
“For now, but you know that I will call you every chance I get.” Nick said.
“Yep, I know. You’re good when it comes to that.” I said back.
“I love you Araysa. I’ve never said I love to you to a girl, excuse me women, before” Nick said.
“I love you too Nick, I know the feeling. I’ve never felt this way about someone like I feel about you.” I said.
“When you first asked me to be your girlfriend I wasn’t sure how it was going to work and how I would be able to handle it. But I’ve found saying yes to you was the best thing I’ve ever done in my entire life. I know that we will be together for a long time.” I said.
I leaned over the table to give Nick a kiss. He cupped my face in hands and pulled me in closer. I pulled away from him and smiled. Nick got up for a second and said he would be right back. I sat there just thinking about how much I loved Nick when two girls came past the table. One of them looked right at me.
“Bitch.” the girl said as she stared me down.
“Yea, how could you? Don’t you know that you’ve ruined the guys careers by going on MTV with them?” The other girl said.
“What are talking about?” I asked.
“Oh you know.”
“I seriouly think that you have the wrong person here.” I said trying to lie to the girls and make them go away. But my plan backfired when Nick came back in the shop. I looked back up at the girls and they had switched from being bitches to the nicest girls in the world.
“Oh hi Nick!! I can’t believe that it’s you.” the first girl said.
“I know, I love you so much. Can we get an autograph?” the second girl asked.
“Sure, that would be no problem.” Nick said as he took the girls pens and signed the CD’s that they had with them.
“Umm...is this your girlfriend?” the one girl asked trying to sound like she didn’t know.
“Yep, it is. This is Araysa.” Nick said while be put his arm around me.
“Hi, my name is Kathy”
“My name is Sarah.”
The girls both gave me a fake smile and shook my hand. The girls also had a camera and took pictures with Nick. They wanted me to get a picture but I refused because I knew what they would use them for. I’m a fan, I wasn’t stupid. As soon as we were done taking pictures Nick and I had to leave to get back to our gate.
“Bye, Nick it was great meeting you. And Araysa you too.” the girls said.
“Nice to meet you too.” Nick said back.
We both walked out of the shop hand in hand. I looked behind me at the girls and just as I did that the one girl snapped a picture. I could hear the other girl call me a bitch again. I turned back around and sighed. I hope that everything turns out okay. We got back to the gate right before we were ready to board the plane. Everybody was there including the managers, bodyguard, the guys, and Denise. We all said our goodbyes to everybody except our guys. Then it was time to board the plane. I turned to Nick and gave him a big hug.
“I love you Nick, talk to ya when we get back to Minnesota.” I said.
“I love you too. We will still be at the hotel so give me a call. If I’m not there just leave a message with the front desk that you are home and I will give you a call when I get back.” Nick said.
“Okay, talk to ya later then.”
When we were all done saying goodbye it was time for the first class passengers to board the plane. All of us girls walked down the hallway to the plane arm in arm.
