The Continuing Saga of Gloria

Gloria continues to amaze everyone that comes in contact with her. She is the most devilish and mischievous dog that I have ever known. There is never a moment of peace in the household whenever she and Bobo get together. If they are not playing a tug of war game, they are harassing Charlie, Colly, the cats, and even the owner with their antics, running throughout the house as though a tornado had just passed through. But, at times Gloria gets real serious as she administers her medical skills to all the animals.

Bobo was choking, hardly breathing. There was nothing we could do. It was impossible to open her mouth to see what she was choking on. Her teeth were like a vise group, and there was nothing we could do. Gloria was outside banging on the door to get in. She sensed something was wrong. She immediately ran over to Bobo, grabbed Bobo’s throat with her teeth, did something we couldn’t see. Bobo wretched, vomited a bit, and a long piece of fibre from the rug fell out of her mouth. She apparently was chewing on the rug and swallowed a piece of the fibre, and started choking.

I am sure that some of you are skeptical, and I don’t blame you, but that’s up to you, believe it or not. I may have doubts myself if I didn’t see this.

Collys eyes have never looked better, and I know its because of the continuous administering of Gloria. Charlie, the grouch who never has played with any of the other animals has started to play a bit with Gloria, an amazing turn of events. Although Colly and Gloria do not get along too well because of jealousy, does take good care of her. Colly is getting very old and feeble, has arthritis and doesn’t get around too well. Gloria sees to it that Colly doesn’t wander off too far alone. The other day, Colly started wandering around the house where she is not allowed, away from the view of the owner. Gloria ran after her, grabbed her fur with her teeth, and amazingly didn’t hurt Colly, but pulled her around to the front of the house and up the stairs to safety. Apparently Gloria thinks nothing of her deeds as she immediately ran over to Elizabeth and tried to steal a bone that she was safeguarding. But Lizzie is getting wise these antics, which of course leaves Gloria a bit frustrated. But there is never say never with Gloria, and she always finds new ways to either torment the animals (all in a nice way) and if necessary, administers to their needs.

All the other animals are fine, the dogs, cats. Big Boy Bear is getting a bit older but is the sweetest dog there is. He is a great big cuddly bear, friendly with everyone he meets, but if necessary will protect us with his life. This we have no doubt.
