MRS T'S NEIGHBORHOODS

Did you know John Lennon's first band was called "THE QUERY MAN"....."ELENOR RIGBY" was a headstone John saw on his way to the festival where they performed the day he meet Paul McCarthy. They then became the band known as "Johnny and the Moondogs". When they got signed to do a tour in Scottland they changed their name to "The Beetles". They played in Germany then made their success when they made it to the States.

I grew up in a neighborhood just like this... I remember the water being VERY COLD. The thrill of diving off the cliffs into the water close to where the falls run in,,,,was definitly worth it! We spent alot of time in these mountains hiking and climbing under and threw the rocks. My favorite part of the hike was the "Lemon Squeeze" two rocks that use to be one that split. With not much room you could climb up in between the rocks to the flat top, (WHEW!) Let me tell you about the view! Miles and Miles of beautiful country side, you could almost touch the clouds.

When I moved to Florida,(the second time)for years this was my neighborhood. This fabulas view was right across the street!(Not available for copy..All Rights Reserved Posted 8/2000) I think this was my favorite neighborhood. Everyone was laid back and into walking the beach early in the morning then to gather at the local cafe' for their bran muffins and coffee. (The gossip was what they all really came for!) I loved watching the sun come up over the ocean. Everyday was like you saw it for the first time.

This is a great picture..I wish I knew who took it. They certainly have captured a moment!
