Mission Trips

The T.W.O. (Teen World Outreach) team, spent a week in Savannah, Georgia spring 2000. We were there from April 12 - April 20th, and it was an awesome time. God used us in so many ways, we can't even begin to see them all. At Thomsins Middle School, so many of the kids were touched and brought to tears, that the teachers could not even begin teaching again. There were about six salvations at 'First African Baptist Church', the oldest black church in North America. It was an amazing experience, we give all the glory to God. We are taking this summer off from mission trips although we will be ministering often locally. We are looking at possibly going overseas next summer, 2002. But as always we are leaving our options open for whatever God would have planned for us.

During the next few months we will continue to try and raise money as we are constantly trying to keep money in the T.W.O. account for whatever God has planned for us next. There are opportunities for us to minister overseas, so we would like to keep these options open and wait for God's timing. Therefore we would greatly appreciate anything you would be willing to give us to help with the funds for any upcoming trips. If you would like to support us financially please e-mail us your snailmail address and we will send you a T.W.O. donation form.

In a song that we are performing in our program, "Mission 3:16" by Carmen, there is a place in the song that says "Free from the past, destined to win, taking the gospel where it's never been. We're on a mission", this is truly a great part of our vision for the places we will be ministering to this year. Because our dance ministry can be considered 'professional' in the secular world, we can get into many places other evangelists can't. We beleive that in these places it is our job to plant the seeds. It is our hope that when people see us dancing, it is not us they are truly seeing, but Jesus Christ shining through us.

The team that went down to Georgia on April 12th included: Cyndy and Greg Ford (the artistic director and her husband), John and Karen Seaman, Larry and Lianna Houck (all are chaperones who make up an amazingly large part of our ministry), and the dancers Kristen Wager, Lindsey Houck, Sarah Lewis, Sarah Adams, Sarah Carey, Bethany Smith, Laren Houck, Anna Seaman, Havilah Ford and Irene Ford. Any prayer support you could give us during this time would be greatly appreciated!

And then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, " Here I am! Send me!"
