Loa's head was whirling… She was getting sick, or so it felt. Something was wrong, oh she could feel it in her bones. That sick dull pain. She wanted to moan. To drive it out, but her always moving insanity driven mind would not allow her to concentrate on such things. She had to keep going. She had to accomplish this one task. After that, everything else would come. All she had to do… Was make it.

And like a sign from the Gods, there the ethereal glow stood. On a high ledge, above the pillars of flame, closer to the Kingdom of Heaven, stood Lao Ma. The woman that Loa could paint in her mind stood there. A sad expression painted her features, and her face bore the efforts of many years of hard life… why was she here though? Why of all places, in Hell? Loa reached out with her mind. In Hell, the mind was the powerful thing. Nothing else but the mind mattered. She used her thoughts to question the spirits around her.

//Why is she here…?// Loa's mind voice asked.

Her question was met with howls. Many low, sick moans. She picked out one and focused.

"Looking…"

//For what?// Loa demanded.

"Children…"

Loa's eyes snapped open and she turned her face to woman above her. Children? Oh… Yes… Her evil son and daughter… They had been the hell-raising duo, from stories she had heard told. Loa, right before that final, fateful mission to kill Enkidu learned that she would probably be sent to Chin soon, to handle the situations… There had been rumors that Lao Ma's long lost daughter was running amok… But Loa never heard the end of that tale, she had been whisked away to the confines of that damned isle. She hated that place now. She wanted to see it right here, in the sick fiery pits. She would like to see them preach about morals and ethics then.

Loa looked above one more time. It was final judgment for Lao Ma. It was her time to be placed into the horrors that were Loa's reality. She closed her eyes and felt her feet slowly lift from the stone floor of the cave. Slowly, slowly, she became level with the ledge. Her dead, hollow eyes met with shocked ones.

Lao Ma, breathed in slowly. "Kuwabarakuwabara." ::Oh, God::

Loa smiled. "Mekei ware?" ::remember me?::

"Akuma chairudo. Watashi… Watashi shitteiru anatashita mono data kuru." (Demon child. I… I knew you would come."

"Bikubiku kara watashi?" ::are you scared of me?::

They stared at each other for a long moment. Loa looked at Lao Ma with hate and anger.

"Ware ishi haraikaesu." ::You will pay::

Lao Ma's mouth opened slowly, as if she was to say something, but could not. Loa was already casting the incantation to seal Lao Ma's spirit. She lifted the stone of darkness aloft.

"Kage. Kage soshite watashi. Kage soshite watashi aru hitori." She looked upon Lao Ma with hate. "Darkness and I are one."

"No!" Lao Ma shrieked.

"I command the Black Dragon to seal the spirit. Give me her strength! NOW!" Loa shrieked above the moans below her. The spirits of the underworld were becoming restless. They wanted the power too. They were rising now, around the two combatants.

"Die Lao Ma!!! DIE! Just like your son and your worthless daughter! They will all join you! You will dwell in my Hell forever!!"

But then, just as the strands of thick darkness converged upon Lao Ma totally, something strange happened.

Rays of pristine white light emerged from the tentacles of darkness. It began to cause the overwhelming force of the darkness to dissipate. Loa looked down, in shock.

"What?! What is happening?!" then she heard the chant… In ancient Chinese…

Loa whispered the words… "Eliminate… Darkness…?" the light was coming now, the beams shooting about Loa, throwing her to the ledge. She coughed as the stone flew from her hand.

"Never! I cannot lose!!!" Loa screamed. The howls were in her head now. And the light, it was blinding…

"No! Get them out!!" Loa clutched her head. The moans were in her head now, telling her millions of things at the same time. She felt like her head would explode from the noise. She looked up to Lao Ma, who was now towering above her.

"How…!! How can you do this to me! I am… I'm the… Black… Dragon…!!!" Loa screamed.

"Ware dekinai korosu kiyorakasa."

"Purity…?" Lao moaned, the darkness and the light were unifying… Her eyes were overcome by shadow, her mind was whirling… "Why… Can't I destroy… Purity…?"

And then nothingness.
