Out of the older engines, the GP39-2 such as 4318 are still pulling
their load in the Bone Valley.

Another second generation diesel to survive till today are the SD40-2.
Quite a bunch of these engines could still be spotted in July 2000 pulling
rock. Here, 8005 is leading a molten sulfur train into Mulberry Yard.

The new power was dominated by EMDX SD70M bought recently by CSX. Here,
a couple of these engines are heading for Rockport with a load of processed
rock.

EMDX SD70Ms came in 2 elegant paint schemes. Here, 7019 is leading
a load of wet rock to the Green Bay processing plant.

Little by little, the EMDXs received a number patch. 4689 was
probably one of the first ones to get it.

Foreign power shows up on a regular basis in the yard. SOO engines
are generally seen on molten sulfur trains to Canada. UP/SP/DRGW/CNW are
seen on molten sulfur and processed phosphate to Texas.
