Bainbridge, Ga; May 1998.
Thursday midday: the turn drops off some cars on the siding north of the CSX main, then goes across on the Flint River to reach the GF&A/SAL yard.


Doyle, Ga; October 1998.
Friday afternoon: I am on my way to Railroad Days in Manchester when I intercept the Columbus turn on its way from Americus.


Americus, Ga; November 1999.
Short on power after sending the GP 7s away, chopped nose SD9s are picked up and immediately put to work with the Patterson built slug and a GP38 also in the red and gray paintscheme. This consist is used on the Columbus and Albany turns.


Dawson, Ga; May 1998.
This lone GP 38 pulled some loads from Cuthbert to Dawson.


Americus, Ga; March 1997.
In pooring rain, GP 7 2160 is cleaning the yard and getting the Cordele turn ready.
