After a full day chasing KCS trains without any success, right after
sunset, I finally run into this coal train in the push-pull combination
going through the home yard.

The next day, I get another coal train with another pair of GEs but
this time they are both in the lead. Only Kansas City could dwarf the brand
new engines. The train was trying to go across the BNSF track which was
being worked on. After about an hour, the conductor gets on the radio,
requesting for the clearance again. The answer from the BNSF dispatcher
a little strange: -well, they have not been working on this track for quite
a while!!!!
Then, of course, there was a BNSF train ready to go across the river....
