You are Earth nature
You are trees and
Meadows and flowers
You are the mountains
You are the valleys
You are the dark
Green wild forests
You are the leaves
That coat it's floors
You are all of nature
I am Fire nature
I am the burning
Hot embers and
The playful sparks
That fly everywhere
I destroy and create
You endure for all time,
For all eternity.
I scorch you and yet
You persevere
And you tame my wild nature
Until I forget I was once wild
And even though I
Seem to feed off of you
I also feed a part of you
I clean the slate
So you can start fresh
Everything new
If I didn't,
You would have no room
To grow or evolve
So, you see, I am
Just as much a part of you
As the trees and the meadows
And the flowers
While you hold the beauty
Of all of nature
I hold the grotesque beauty
Of the fire ...
All flickering flames
And wavering heat
Tangible, and yet
So intangible, do I exist?
Earth and Fire
Fire and Earth
For us there is no
Beginning and no end
And if we love each other
Very carefully, yet deeply
We will see how the one
Cannot exist without the other
