Just a series of hours
Turning slowly into days
The sun would shine
The flowers bloom
And I would take no notice
My life with you was
A cavalcade of sweet
Moments and rich stories
Love blossomed before my eyes
Shining bright
The sun, moon and stars
Never knew such brilliance
And my life after you was
Filled with darkness
A darkness of despair
And terrifying loneliness
Until you reappeared...
Love sparkles once again
