What would happen if I told you the truth?
If all the feelings rushed out all at once - a flood of words.
Could you read my mind? Would you listen?
Would you run from their sound?
Would you ignore the words ?
Would I lose my ground?
What would happen if you saw what I see
when I look in your eyes - catch a glance
at the person I see?
Would you hide? Would you look away?
Would tears wash the vision away?
Would you laugh seeing things as I see?
Would you feel better seeing what I see?
What would happen if you heard what I hear
when you speak my name?
When your words touch my ears?
Would you erase the sound? Would you repeat the words?
Would they calm your fears? Would I hear your voice again?
What would happen if you felt how I feel when you walk in the room?
When I'm close to you?
Would you feel my heart race? Would you see the flush of my face?
Would you feel the tremble of uncertainty?
Would you walk away? Would the feelings fade away?
What would happen......
