Reflection's tears fall quietly
For her there is no sobbing
She does not wail, nor does
She cry out in suffering
Her tears are silent, like
A summer's mist that fades
In the light of the day,
Her smile reduces them so
Her laughter, like water
Rippling, a gentle stream
Soothes her tears, and
Allieviates her fears
I watch her silent image
Reflection of another me,
Perhaps one day I can be
The me I see in her
