Like a glistening dewdrop
About to fall from a flower

This piece of my soul has been
Touched by no other
It is the core of my emotions, my being
The safe place inside of me
The place where no one else
Can reach me, when the world
Begins to spin and life
Becomes too harsh, too severe
I've put this aside for you

I place it in your hands
