Chapter 3
Judgment begins
- Part 1
-The Day of "Giving Over"
"For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" (1 Pet 4:17-18)
I've often wondered with ALL the garbage, junk food preaching we've been hearing in the Christian circle, Lord, how long do we have until "judgment" starts falling? Many preachers aren't even jealous for the things of God, preaching with the fear of man in mind or preaching for the applause of men rather than preaching to please God. There's no zeal of the Lord eating them up (John 2:17)! The love of many is waxing cold (Matt 24:12) but as it is written "…and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." (2 Tim 3:12-13) No matter how dark it gets, This one thing I recall, "It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." (Lam 3:22-23) "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." (Rev 3:19) "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Pet 3:9)
Interpreting
Judgment
Many times when we think of judgment, we think of Ananias and Sapphira dropping dead because they lied to the Holy Ghost (Acts 5). It will most likely come back to that one day, but if we're waiting for that to happen and then, now we understand that judgment is coming upon the Church, we miss the tender mercies of the Lord that has been calling us back to repentance all along! Judgment is happening at the house of God, right now even as you're reading this! It's refining those who love the truth, weighing those that are hanging in the balances, separating those who are on the Lord's side apart from those who have believed "the lie." If we interpret, it is judgment only when fire falls down from heaven, God help us to hear His voice and feel His promptings, wooing us back into right standing with Him! He loves us! He provides for us a space to repent! (Rev 2:21) Forewarning us through His servants the prophets!
We have been inundated in this appointed time and era of the Church age with a host of covetous preachers, why? Why has all these "prosperity" preachers popped up suddenly on the scene in these last days saying, "develop your faith," "changing your world," "new anointings, greater revelations, dreams and visions?" Does anybody see the fulfillment of false teachers, Bible prophecy taking place here, appearing as the greatest teaching, greatest anointing, greatest move of God, but in reality, the start of the greatest deception to hit the planet! The sign marking the last of the "Last-Days" IS NOT a financial revival! The sign of the "Last-Days" according Jesus and the Apostles IS deception!!! And this deception is not going to take place in some corner where a man is preaching to five people!!! The Holy Bible says, "And MANY (Not a few) shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not." (2 Pet 2:2-3) This is going to take place right in our midst, right before our eyes! It is going to come through popular preachers whom people adhere to and hold in such high esteem, because they will not endure sound doctrine but after their own LUSTS, they heap to themselves these guys who will tell them what they want to hear!!! (see 2 Tim 4:3) I can't count the times when I had been showing someone in the Word sound doctrine and they responded not by rightly dividing the Word of Truth, but with quoting Dr so and so and referencing their pedestalized preacher.
Cloaked under the banner of "the Word of Faith movement" the Laodicean's (Rev 3) teach a network of heresies THAT ALLURE THROUGH THE LUSTS OF THE FLESH (2 Pet 2:!8), teaching things they ought not for filthy lucre's sake. (Titus 1:11) Teaching, "Name it, Claim it," "Speaking it into existence," "We're little Gods," "The wealth of the wicked, is for the Church's taking," "Thy money cometh" etc, etc. just to name a few of the many. Many think that this is the greatest teaching the Church has ever received [compare 2 Cor 11:3-7; Gal 1](even to the point that where it takes authority over the Bible, and call it "real revelation knowledge"), and even outwardly it looks like God is blessing them, giving them the money they claimed was theirs by faith, but in reality God is giving them over, giving them what they want, desire and LUST after!!! Many don't really understand that all this is, is a judgment of God!!!! They're sooo spiritual, understanding the formulas of FAITH, the deep sayings of God, but too stubborn, arrogant and self willed to receive correction from the spirit of truth, so God gives them over!!! Don't be deceived, yes you may have heard them preach on contentment or should I say a false contentment! You gotta be kidding! Hell is never full and neither is the covetous preacher! "The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough: The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough." (Prov 30:15-16)
God
Giving People Over?
"For the mystery of iniquity
doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of
the way. And then shall that Wicked be
revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall
destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all
power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of
unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the
truth, that they might be saved. And
for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a
lie: That they all might be damned who
believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (II Th
2:7-12)
God will bless His people, but if you're not content, God will give people over to their lusts (including to the LUSTS of this unbiblical teaching of prosperity) to recompense righteous judgment, see ROMANS chapter 1!!! Contentment meaning: Lord, if I never get another dime in my life I'm satisfied! You're my Abba Father you will provide and take care of my needs. Prov 30:8-9 "Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain."
Selah the following example: When the Israelites, God's
covenant people lusted after meat in the wilderness even though God was meeting
all their daily needs with manna from heaven, God said…
"And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat. Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days; But even a whole month (Guys I'm going to give you ALL that you want), until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt? And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month. Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them? And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not." (Num 11:18-23)
And so it is today!!! If you hear His voice harden not your hearts as they did in the wilderness! Get men's persons out of your admiration! So what if they have a mega ministry! That doesn't mean what they say is true and from God! Let God be true and everyman the liar! God will give you what you LUST after! "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?" (James 4:4-5)
The True and Only God judged kingdoms by their god's, just
look at the ten plagues of Egypt! All
their gods served as judgments upon their heads! The god in most American Churches is "money" the idol
of a false "prosperity," supposing that gain/abundance is
godliness! The judgment that will and
has hit America Churches already, will be "money!!!"

called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that
trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though
we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you
than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If
any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received,
let him be accursed. For
do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased
men, I should not be the servant of Christ." Gal 1:6-10
