Wheat, Tares, The Kingdom

Wheat, Tares, The Kingdom

Concerning "The Rapture of the Church," people who believe that the Church will go through the Tribulation would try to make the parable of the "Wheat & Tares" say something it does NOT say!

Matthew 13:36-43 Jesus DEFINES the parable of the "Wheat & Tares"

"Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them,

He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

The field is the world;

the good seed are the children of the kingdom;

but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

The enemy that sowed them is the devil;

the harvest is the end of the world;

and the reapers are the angels.

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world

(Revelation 20:12-15 "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.")

 (Matt 13:47-50 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.")

The Son of man shall send forth his angels,

(This is not the "Rapture of the Church!" In this parable Jesus shall SEND FORTH HIS ANGELS! When the "Rapture of the Church" happens, The Lord HIMSELF shall descend! 1Thes 4:16-18 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.")

and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

(This is clearly not the "Rapture of the Church!" because what these angels are sent to do is gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity! This is a gathering of the Tares (The Rebels) to go into a furnace of fire, not taking the wheat to Heaven in this verse!

Yes the Wheat are believers, but "The Church" is not exclusively "The WHEAT" altogether! People think that everything is "the Church," (That refers to the Church, this refers to the Church). There are people who will become "believers" after the Rapture of the Church! And yes, they will be classified as "WHEAT" also! This verse applies to the last order of believers at the end of the World! It doesn't have to be solely and exclusively what we know today as "The Church" a.k.a. You & me!

1 Cor 15:20-24 "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power."

And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."

CONCLUSION

The "Wheat & Tares" parable is more comparable to the Judgment of the Nations at the 2nd Advent of Christ, rather than when the "Rapture of the Church!" (See Matthew 25:31-46)
