Christians in the hands of
a Jealous God
Chapter
7
Wherewithal Shall a Young
Man Cleanse His Way?
Dark is the day, but there is still
hope! Vexation of the righteous, but
God is faithful! He reserves unto us a
remnant, an oasis in a desert! I have
often said, before the first coming of the Lord, there was a voice crying in
the wilderness, that's where you have to go to find the true message of the
Lord, cause the religious leaders wouldn't have it. So shall it be before the second coming, that's why you see Jesus
on the outside trying to get in (Rev3:20).
God would love to see acceptance of His truth and holiness in the
mainstream flow of people who are called by His name but the facts are, that
wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many
there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the
way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Nevertheless God has made a way for ALL men
to be saved, but few men choose it, it's the highway of holiness, it's found
only IN Christ! You can't be a
Christian and decide whether or not you will be His disciple! God demands you to be a disciple in order to
be saved! He demands you to abide IN
Christ, to deny yourself, take up your cross daily and follow Him to be washed
in His blood for the remission of sins!
To reckon yourself dead to this world but alive unto God! Riches can't buy it, poverty can't keep you
from it, it's free unto ALL who will receive it! Set free IF YOU WANT TO BE!
"I know a place, a wonderful place. Where accused and condemned find mercy and
grace! Where the wrongs we have done,
and the wrongs done to us, were nailed there with Him, there on the Cross!"
"Wherewithal
shall a young man cleanse his way?
by
taking heed thereto according to thy word."
(Ps 119:9)
According to the Word of God, the mirror of truth, the fountain of everlasting life, the history of things to come. Therein is ALL things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Pet 1:3). Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature… (v.4)
"For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them." (Deut 30:11-20)
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" (John 1:12)
"And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the
prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is
filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous
still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give
every man according as his work shall be." (Rev 22:10-12)
