To
JudgeOR
Not To Judge
That is the Question?
I
strongly believe that the above question is a major contribution to the mass deception that has swept and is sweeping throughout the earth. "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (The coming of the Lord Jesus) shall not come, except there come a falling away first (Apostasy! And not necessarily a falling away from Church, BUT a falling away from TRUTH!), and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;" II Th 2:3SATAN HAS USED,
"DON’T JUDGE" AS A SMOKESCREEN TO USHER IN MANY FALSE DOCTRINES AND DAMNABLE HERESIES! Causing MANY, not necessarily to stray away from Church, BUT to ERR FROM THE FAITH!Does the Word of God tell us "Not to judge" in the same way preachers are telling us "Not to Judge"?
As with any truth in Bible doctrine we need to look at the COMPLETE PICTURE of the puzzle, and not just one or two pieces of the puzzle and jumping to the conclusion that we are not to say anything concerning false teaching; when that is not what the entire picture conveys!
First let's take a look at a few of the favorites used to try and silence
the Watchmen!#1
Matthew 7:1 "Judge not, that ye be not judged."Well
IF you leave it at that, like they do, of course it's hard to argue against! But that's NOT where the context of what Jesus is teaching ends! Read the rest of the context…2 For with what judgment
ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. (Be careful HOW you judge)3 And
why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.FIRST and THEN
Jesus is warning against
hypocritical judging! Consider also what the Apostle Pauls writes in Romans 2:21-2421 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, ...
Thou hypocrite
, first (Do NOT judge AT ALL; NO! Judge yourself first, so you will not be judged, so you can see clearly) cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. (Not destructive criticism, but constructive, to help, better and perfect each other! IF we are not supposed to say anything at all, then rip the following scriptures out of your Bible because it would be impossible to:2 Tim 3:16-17
16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Rebellious people who don't want to live right are the ones behind, pushing the "Don't Judge" movement! If you're doing what's right to the best of your ability, you have nothing to be afraid of or fear! "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." -Jn 3:20-21
The sinners
in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? Isa 33:14As many as I love,
I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Rev 3:19)Remember:
FIRST and THEN#2
"Judge not according to the appearance"This
half of John 7:24 is quoted by people under the influence of the devil in order to cloak his appearance! Jesus said that we will "know them by their fruits!" (Matt 7:15-20) Once again, read the Bible for yourself to get the context, the whole of the scripture!John 7:24 actually says, "Judge not according to the appearance
but judge righteous judgment."JUDGE = 2919 krino (kree'-no); properly, to distinguish, i.e. decide (mentally or judicially); by implication, to try, condemn, punish: KJV-- avenge, conclude, condemn,
damn, decree, determine, esteem, judge, go to (sue at the) law, ordain, call in question, sentence to, think.
Does God say "Hush" to the Watchmen
Ezekiel 3:17-21
17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them
warning from me.2094 zahar (zaw-har');
a primitive root; to gleam; figuratively, to enlighten (by caution):
KJV-- admonish, shine, teach, (give) warn (-ing).
18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not
warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.19 Yet if thou
warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him
warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.21 Nevertheless if thou
warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.I John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but
try (1381 dokimazo (dok-im-ad'-zo);from 1384; to test (literally or figuratively); by implication, to approve: KJV-- allow, discern, examine, X like, (ap-) prove, try) the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. The Apostle Paul commended the Berean Christians for not JUST accepting the appearance of things that he said as truth, but that they also, "… searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." Acts 17:11
If you ever go to a Church service, don't believe just because you're in Church, there's a famous preacher, he's got P.h.d.'s & D.D.'s at a theological seminary, everybody is "Amen" ing everything he says, that whatever and everything he says is the truth! Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment!
BECAUSE
"… though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:7-8
Matt 7:15-20
15 Beware of
false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.16
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.He that WILL hear, let him hear! He that WILL forbear, let him forbear!
He that hath ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the Church!
"God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged." Rom 3:4
Does God "
CONDEMN" or "commend" contending for the faith that was once delivered unto the saints? (JUDE 3)___ CONDEMN or ___ COMMEND
___ CONDEMN or ___ COMMEND
___ CONDEMN or ___ COMMEND
If you think we are supposed to lay aside our God given critical faculties - common sense, consider these "natural" scenarios, but keep in mind, "How much more" should we take heed when it comes to the spiritual! Our ETERNAL DESTINY hangs on whether or not we take heed to God's Word!
Would you blindly pull out, saying, "God loves me, He would never allow anything bad to happen to me, I'm a child of the King?" Or, would you "exercise caution," look both ways, AND JUDGE whether or not it is safe to pull out without getting hurt or hurting someone else?
Would you speak up if you saw something that maybe the driver of the car didn't see?
Would it be all right to say something? Would the driver curse you IF you didn't warn him? Or should he, considering the truth and reality, commend you?
Would you grab one of everything first, check out, go home and then if there is anything bad, you'll throw it out then?
Or, would you prove all things first, inspect, examine the fruit to see if it's rotten or has worms, and then hold to that which is good.
Now if people lived their life without exercising any kind of judgment or caution, would that be smart and safe? Or ridiculous and careless? You be the judge of that!
"If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha." 1 Cor 16:22
