Ok, keep in mind that I was watching this episode as I was cleaning out my
aquarium, so I may have missed a few pertinent moments, but you won’t need
to know them for my review, because basically, it doesn’t matter!
On a scale of sucktitude, this episode rates a 7. Now I knew from the
previews last week that this probably wouldn’t involve Donovan too much, but
I still kept hope that he’d appear in more than one scene. And again I was
disappointed.
It starts out with this chick calling up Ramsey, asking to speak with Frank.
In a great line, Ramsey says: “Go peddle crazy somewhere else, we’re all
stocked up here.” Of course, she gets mad and you know what they say about
a woman scorned…
In the next scene, “Frank” (we all know it isn’t Frank) calls an airplane
tower thing (don’t know what it’s called) and tells the head cheese that
there will be a momentary glitch in the navigation systems. Of course, it
was more than momentary, and as a result, a few airplanes collided and
thousands of lives were lost.
Now, we’re back to the NSA and Bradley asks Frank if he made a call to the
air plane tower thing. He says no, and then Bradley plays the message.
They are supposed to put him under house arrest and some one asks “Who will
backstep?”
My roomates look at me like I’m crazy when I shout “Donovan! Donovan will
backstep” But again, my hopes were dashed. Delores (that’s the psycho
woman’s name) calls in and uses the recording of Frank, and of course his
name is cleared. So guess who gets to go on a backstep? It sure as heck
wasn’t Donavon.
I won’t go into too much more detail b/c I might fall asleep at the
keyboard. Seriously, this episode had some funny moments. Parker was
forced to do all kinds of crazy stunts so that Delores wouldn’t ‘make the
birdies fall from the sky’. I was quite amused actually. In the end
however, we find out that Delores is actually a man named Dean Lores (I’m
getting better at remembering names!) who was a software programmer for the
sphere, who went plumb loco when he was told that he couldn’t be the
chrononaught.
There was a funny scene with Donovan (his only one I might add, bitterly)
Ramsey and Olga. They were going through Frank’s box (I didn’t know that
men had these! I have about three of them!) of pictures and memories. Olga
asks if she is in it, and they say no. Cute, cute, cute.
So, the psycho falls of the ledge in this dilapidated building and dies.
The very last scene, Frank is looking through is box and Olga apologizes for
having to go through his things. He says that maybe he should apologize
since she wasn’t included. She tells him that she’s a little relieved (Yeah
right!) So, she leaves and he tips over the chair and pulls out another
box. He opens it and guess who fills the contents? No! Not Ramsey! Olga.
It was kinda sweet. Awwwwww…
