On the Atlantic coast, '78 trip. Even out there 'roughing it', one has to keep the teeth clean. If you look close,you can see where I am pulling the string to take the picture.
On water this open, paddling is tough. Forward progress seems nil, and the wind is never going the same way. At times, I just had to stop and wait for the wind to slacken, usually at dusk.
