Just Close Your Eyes And be There
When you recall what might have been
And long to be where you were then,
But know you cannot go back again.
Just close your eyes and be there.
When you look back to yesteryear
And think of those you've held so dear,
Now just before you shed a tear.
Just close your eyes and be there.
Sometimes when lonesome comes and stays,
Just try to think of other ways
To bring back all those happy days.
