Step Back In Time

come take a ride with me
We'll glide along the banks
of the mighty Mississippi
(A Step Back In Time)
Genteel is so sublime
can you hear the banjos
playin...Mammy
We'll get on board the
MISSISSIPPI QUEEN and
ride her to New Orlean

We'll watch the gulls
Fly high...as we pass by
on this paddle wheel
QUEEN of the genteel
A promenade around her deck
when no ones looking
We'll steal a Hug or Peck
Later we'll find a meal
dine on rice and bean
Done in....cajun style

As we linger for awhile
gliding on the miles
sharing friendly smiles
Laughter rings in the air
as the banjos flairA
on lazy Sunday
afternoon on the river
It's wonders we will discover
There is nothing we do lack
As we take a..step back...
