We're needing some major help!  A guy, Robert McDuffie 590190 was gassed at 11:20am.  Sgt. Drouse went to the rear of his cell and cursed McDuffie through the rear vent.  When Inmate McDuffie cursed him back, the Lt. stepped through the door and gassed Inmate McDuffie.  That was at 11:20am.

I could hear Inmate McDuffie moaning, trying to take in air.  He did nothing more to provoke them, yet at 11:27am, they sprayed him with another can, inflicting more suffering upon McDuffie, who was by then coughing and gagging.

At 11:35am, they emptied a 3rd canister into his cell.  This is abuse of human beings!  These low life *rednecks need to be removed from the FDOC and the Feds need to take over.  PLEASE TELL THIS STORY!

~ Saturday, December 20, 2003 ~

About five minutes ago, Sgt. Drouse came to my cell and said, "What the fuck's up with this Angelfire site?  You idiots don't know that bitch is robbing y'all!"

I said, "All that's free.  It cost us absolutely nothing."

When officers are talking about your website, you know you're doing something right.  A Lt. said something the other day about it, so you are reaching out there and touching them.  Who says the pen is not as mighty as the sword?

Then Sgt. Drouse went on talking about a grievance I filed about him threatening me two days ago.  He stated to me on Thursday, "I'm going to get  you, Bitch." So, enclosed in this letter is everything that's been happening.  One part is about my medical.  I'm also going to enclose a letter I wrote to Governor Bush.  I think you will like that letter.  Another is on the ACA and a letter I sent them, along with an article I wrote about them and the IG, so I'd like to put that up with the grievances.  I've got some grievances that are ruled in my favor yet are not being followed.

According to Florida JUR 2d Prisons & Prisoners 580, the Office of the Inspector General must see that all the rules and regulations issued by the department are strictly observed and followed by all persons connected with the correctional system of the state.  Now, I'm calling for the IG to be brought in to investigate this administration for abusing Chapter 33-601.820 on Maximum Management. M/M is designed to be a temporary status for an inmate who, through a recent/current incident, requires an immediate level of control.  Yet this rule is being abused by this administration and used as an indefinite form of punitive isolation.  I'm calling for the IG to investigate this abuse.
