Here is Frank Valdes telling me and my friend in a recorded phone conversation that he expected they would beat him when he arrived at FSP. He knew that he could die there. Plus he already knew about Q or X wing, whichever you want to call it. Q wing and X Wing are one and the same. They change the names to throw people off, but they are the same place! Frank told me about this wing of the prison in 1990. Billy van Poyck filed a lawsuit in federal court before they would move him off of Q wing. And Billy won. Billy was Frank's co defendant. How Frank would be treated and where he would be housed was decided before he ever went to FSP, and just because of who died in his case, Billy and Frank were placed on Q wing.

Did you know the day they murdered my husband, Frank, they were calling other guards to come in and beat on him from other parts of the prison? Lots of things can be hidden on Q-wing because of no windows and two doors to go through.

In Florida to work at a prison you must have a certain mentality. Yes they have some good guards, but how can any caring Christian turn their back on such abuse and still do a good job? Frank Valdes was an inmate and he could not turn away, now he is dead, murdered by the guards.

Shame on Florida and on our justice system when we lock human beings in sweltering heat and then we abuse them and treat them less than animals.

So far as our sec. of prisons, he should be ashamed. Crosby lied to the press about even what cell Frank was murdered in. And he did his best to cover up for his questionable guards. and you know Jeb Bush was pleased. He appointed Crosby secretary of prisons right after the men Crosby was in charge of murdered my husband.. He has the nerve to talk about his Christian Faith Based prisons, yet he can sign a death warrant. He is supposed to be catholic yet he violates the laws of his church. Shame on him and I will not vote for him.
