I have a friend at Charlotte, well 2.  I have been trying to get information about them all day. One is on close management I and the other is a lifer that just so happens to be on the Construction Crew (which I don't understand that anyway).

Well I have been checking the Sun Hearld, The Herald Tribune and NBC all day. Nothing new really. They only released one inmate name and not giving out anything on the others as of yet.

They house up to 1000 inamtes and there are about 500 there now. A few months back, they cleared out this camp because as of July 1, this is suppose to be one of the three Florida CM camps. The only people that were supposed to be allowed to stay were CM's and inmates working on the construction crew.

Inmates are counted around 9pm at night at most camps in Florida, that is just an opinion, not a fact. I know from having to deal with the system for over a decade, you notice the standard routines at all the camps.

Now what they were doing out that late at night is beyond me because most work detail is over by 2 p.m. at most facilities (own opinion).

I am so sorry for this lady and her family and my prayers go out to them, but I got a feeling that DOC is gonna do a cover up BIG TIME. The family has already hired a lawyer so everyone is trying to piece this puzzle together.

The inmates are being treated badly all over. It's no sense in me going on about my story, but I am concerned for the men I know there. They are friends of my fiancee and I am concerned.

I am pretty surprised about what happened in Charlotte CI.  My boyfriend was a lifer there until last year October. He is now in Santa Rosa.

But in Charlotte, I gained the impression that everything was more relaxed and a bit more understanding between the inmates and guards.

In the last month he was moved all over the country.  He was In Raiford for example and always he missed Charlotte and tried everything to get back there.
 
Does anyone have the same experience??
