Dear Jeb:
I couldn't believe you would have any part of protecting any correctional officer that was in the wrong. If they would do that to an officer I just wonder how many inmates they have beaten.

13. SGT. KENNY HOLLINGSWORTH AND OFFICER BIGGS RECENTLY GOT ARRESTED AT 8 SECONDS NIGHT CLUB IN GAINESVILLE AND COMMITTED BATTERY ON A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER AT GAINESVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

COLONEL A.C. CLARK
CALLED JAMES CROSBY JR. REGION 2 DIRECTOR AND INFORMED HIM OF THE INCIDENT.  JAMES CROSBY JR. THEN CALLED JEB BUSH AND ASKED HIM TO MAKE A CALL TO GAINESVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND HAVE THE CHARGES DROPPED AGAINST THE 2 FLORIDA STATE PRISON EMPLOYEES.  JEB BUSH MADE THE CALL BUT GAINESVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT WOULD NOT DROP THE CHARGES.

14.
COLONEL A.C. CLARK  AND JAMES CROSBY JR. GAVE GOVERNOR JEB BUSH A CHECK FOR $30,000.00 DOLLARS AT THE CLAY COUNTY BUSH RALLY.

I also hope and pray your not considering Crosby for the other crooks position as Secretary of Corrections since it has long been known of his cover-up and mishandling of legitimate complaints against prisons in his region.

Also what's up with Aramark not feeding the inmates, we know your family has controlling stock and could fix that as well. Even the correctional officers are complaining about the uncooked chicken and other items and refusing to feed it to the inmates. My son was given watered down peanut butter with no bread and told to make a sandwich for lunch the other day.

You saved him from being starved to death at Washington CI to be starved and made ill by uncooked meat at FSP and this time its not the prison deliberately doing it. They're as upset as I am since the officers are expected to eat that garbage as well. I don't expect Kevin to get steak and lobster but I do expect what he gets to be cooked and not watered down to make more.

I know what a good person you are and your entire family as well and as I have told you several times I have completely supported them all starting with your dad. So I know you want to correct this situation and look into Aramark not sticking to the menu and endangering inmates as well as officers health. Kevin only has a few months left I'd like him to live long enough to get out and be able to start over.

Thank you for your time I know you will do the right thing - you always do.

I got a response this time, didn't I?  He hasn't been answering any of my e-mails lately but he didn't mind answering this one.    Janice

Ms. Smith, the story you have told is not true. I did not call the Gainesville police. I was not asked to call the Gainesville police by Mr. Clark or Mr. Crosby.

Subject: Corruption at FSP

Dear Kay,
I read your web site with great interest and as a Sergeant who has been there [FSP] for almost 15 years, I can truthfully say that the corruption and favoritism is the worst I have ever seen it at any point in time. Every thing that "Badclass" said was true. Sergeants were forced to sell 50/50 tickets but much of the proceeds went to Jeb Bush's election fund and not the softball team.  Correctional officers were also "on the clock" in order to attend and help set up Bush rallies and to hold up campaign signs for various candidates in Starke.
