OPERATION WIPE-OUT PRESS RELEASE

Yesterday I send out a story  called "Use Your Hands", about the toilet paper shortage in Florida prisons, and staff who tell the prisoners to use their hands to wipe with - and mean it.  The email generated a lot of response. This one grabbed my attention as an inexpensive and fun way to tell officials that human beings NEED toilet paper.

"Why don't we all get all the group members from all the groups to send in one roll of toilet paper to the governor's office and tell them to please give it to the prisoners at their prisons? I have my yellow envelope here waiting, an a roll of tp in my bathroom upstairs. I'm sure it would only take about 2-3 stamps. I mail my yellow envelopes from home. We may be out a roll of toilet paper and a few stamps, but when the governor's office gets bombarded with toilet paper, someone will take notice."

The prisoners in Florida are going without toilet paper because the Dept. of Corrections' budget cannot afford to supply it.

The prisoners are being told to "use your hands", which we know will breed more disease.
