For the mouses' 75th birthday, the Disney company looked to the worlds best artists, actors, musicians, and other celebrities for inspiration. What they got was a collection of the coolest Mickey Mouse statues, each unique and creative. The 5-6 ft statues were displayed at the Walt DisneyWorld Resort. They're next stop is a tour, and then an auction. I was very happy to have the opportunity(although I was sick as a dog) to go and see them. They were spectacular. Here's a look.......

This was my favorite one of all. It was my favorite color, purple. Plus the wings made Mickey look really cool.

If you like seafood, this would have been the one for you.

Ellen designed this statue. Dori, Ellens character, swims in the fishbowl. The shirt did say Disneyworld. Ellen thought it would be better if she changed it to Ellenworld.

Fantasia splashed an image on Mickey here. The sorcerer's apprentice weaves his magic on Mickey's stomach.

The first one on the left here is the "Tron" Mickey. On the right is the Regis and Kelly Mickey. It features the Statue of Liberty's spikes, a New York backdrop on the chest, and the Regis and Kelly mug in his hand.
