I don't really have to explain why this one didn't get the green light. After playing Captain EO at Epcot, Michael Jackson was very excited about furthering his relationship with the Disney company by creating a Jackson themed kids playland. The plans included a giant cozy bouncy bed, a playground inside a giant replica of his monkeys head, and a swimming pool with a underground viewing area. I guess you could call this attraction a "hands on place"
Although Jackson would not have been there personally everyday, he did plan to have cameras installed to, "make sure everything is kept up to my standards. Especially in changing areas and restrooms. I mean, we want things to be clean for all of my beautiful children of the world." Disney execs turned down the idea but refused to comment any further than stating, "this isn't quite the way we want to touch children."
