This film is surprisingly funny. Somehow, the movie is making fun of itself the whole time without being overly spoofy. Cameron Diaz plays a clumsy goofball very well, and Drew Barrymore is convincing as the dumb bimbo. The action sequences were frequent and satisfying, with a great soundtrack throughout.

A few little things, like real character development, fell to the wayside, but the overall effect was pleasing. Mindset is everything, and this is definitely a great flick to see on a date, or with a bunch of casual friends.
