This is a view of our motorhomes at Blue Cypress.Cypress is a primitive campground,meaning no hookups for water,electricity or sanitation.So you must be fully self-contained and run your lights off an extra 12 volt battery and carry enough water to last for the length of your stay.And heat and cook with l.p.gas. They do have modern bathroom facilities and showers and camping is still free.

This is a solitary shot of me at about dusk drifting on Blue Cypress. I really loved this lake.At least once a year I would take a weeks vacation and arrive at the campground on Sunday afternoon after all the weekenders had left and I would virtually have the whole campground and lake to myself.I remember one time I went three days without saying a word.Complete quiet and solitude.
