It's hard to find a good color for your house. If you are thinking of a tropial (orange,tan, or yellow) you should have a porch or a patio. If you have a patio with a some kind of sheet over it, it should be blue or green but I think green always looks better. You should have exotic plants around your house. Flowers and bushes is what I mean about exotic plants. If your going for a northern look go for a white house with blue trim and blue certans. You should have mild looking plants around your house and should have a nice looking wooden door.
If you follow these steps your greens will turn there greenest. 1. Feed your plant plant food every week, it's ok if you feed it every two weeks. 2. Water your plants every two days if in sun but if not water them every three to four days. 3. You should use a spray "Concern" on your plants. 4. Soap water is always good to use on plants to kill bugs.
You take liquid soap and water and put it in a spray bottle and shake it up a little bit. Then spray it on your plants and it kill them. Remeber this does not kill every bug but it does not hurt your plant at all!
Every couple of years fixing up your house is needed. It might take a few minutes or hours or even days. Before you fix up you should destroy some of the problem, bugs. I suggest hiring some one. Then you should find furniture that has screws that need tightening and tighten them. Then check if all the electrical switches and inputs work. If some don't work call a electrician. If you can not fix some furniture replace it, if it really, really old check if it's weath something. You should full in the cracks in your house with some thing at your local hardware store. Change your light bulbs around the house. Replace all the old stuff in the house. The last step is cleaning up your house.
