CHAPTERS 7 – LOVE AND TRUST IS EVERYTHING

While Taylor went out in the bathroom, Nick made the call. He looked after Taylor as she left the room.

She was so lovely, and he really liked her. She wasn’t like any other girl he’d met. She was special.

Suddenly Howie picked up the phone" "Hello?"

"Hello D! It’s Nick" Nick said. "Nick?" Howie said surprisingly. "Where are you, pal? We’ve gotta go rehearse in an hour" "I’m over at Taylor’s, but I’m driving home now. Do you think it’s alright if I bring her with me?" "Sure it is" Howie said cheerfully. "She can watch us rehearse" "Thanx, man" Nick smiled. "We’ll be there in a minute," "Sure" Howie said. "Cya soon" "Ya. Cya" Nick said and laid down the phone.

Taylor came out again from the bathroom. "How would you like to go and see us rehearse?" Nick smiled.

"Are you kidding?!" Taylor said. "Of course, I will" "Alright, Come on then" Nick smiled.

In the next 2 months, I saw Nick and the others almost every day.

Some days it was only Nick and I, and it always turned out in the end, that we started cuddling, sometimes even when the other boys were there, but that was only kissing and stuff.

They all knew how we felt about each other, but they still teased us sometimes.

They all became like brothers to me and I was like a sister to them.

Charlotte started going with me over to the boys and she really kicked it off with all of them.

They all said that she was very nice, especially AJ liked her.

The one I liked best of the boys, besides Nick, were definitely Brian. He was funny and sweet, like an older version of Nick, but the others were the best too.

At this point, I knew that I was falling in love with Nick, there was no doubt about it, but I still wasn’t ready to say it to him.

I still had the feeling that all guys would let me down if I told them I loved them, so I let it continue the way it was.

Making out in corners when no one was watching, walking on the beach in the moonlight, picnics, trips, everything was like heaven to me and I didn’t want it to end.

Then one day, when I was supposed to meet Nick, I saw the most beautiful wedding rings in a window.

I had to stop and look at them. They were all so beautiful. "I wonder if Nick and I ever get married some day?" I thought.

Nick was waiting in front of the cinema. Taylor was supposed to be there at 4PM and now it was 4.15PM. "Wonder what’s keeping her?" Nick thought.

Then he started thinking of the past 2 months with Taylor and smiled. Those 2 months had been the happiest of his life. It was so great being with her.

He now knew that he loved her, he just didn’t wanna tell her yet.

He was afraid to scare her off, so he just enjoyed every second he had with her.

"Hi Nicky-bear" a voice behind him, said. Nick turned around.

"Amber!!" he said. "What are you doing here?" "Well, I’d just like to see you again" Amber smiled.

"I heard you’ve got famous since we broke up?" "Yeah. So?" Nick said, cold as ice.

"I just wanted to say than I’m sorry I ever broke up with you. You treated me so well, and I treated you like garbage" "Ya, you did" Nick said, still cold. "Well, I’d like to give it another chance" Amber smiled. "Forget it, Amber" Nick said. "I’m in love with someone else" "Oh yeah, that’s right" Amber said cold. "That girl, who’s always splashed out over the magazines. Taylor, isn’t that her name?"

"None of your business" Nick snapped. "Now would you please leave?" "Alright" Amber said.

"But before I leave, I can have a goodbye kiss, right?"
She took his head and gave him a passionate kiss.

At that moment, Taylor came behind a corner, and saw Nick and Amber.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!!!" she screamed with tears in her eyes.

Nick pulled away from Amber. Then Taylor started running.

"TAYLOR!!! NO!" Nick said, pushing Amber outs of his way and ran after her. "Oh no, what have I done?" Nick thought as he ran after her.

I was heartbroken.

I knew I couldn’t trust any man. I’d thought that Nick was different but he was just like Todd and every other man in the world.

Tears were rolling down my cheek so I couldn’t see a thing.

Without thinking I ran over the street just as the lights were changing. Suddenly I heard Nick yell: "TAYLOR!! WATCH OUT BEHIND YOU!!" I looked behind just to see a car racing towards me.

Suddenly I heard a big thump and the hard asphalt underneath me. I heard Nick yell and run over to me. I saw Nick for a brief moment, with tears in his eyes.
