To understand the hymn I shut my eyes to hear your voice. Beyond the darkness of my eyelids I understood the language And I with them too prayed to You my Lord. I watched your face closely as Pilate kept on questioning You. You too my Lord kept your eyes shut all the way through. I questioned myself why? May be it was because beyond the darkness of Your eyelids You too could understand the incomprehensible talk that was surrounding You. I shut my eyes to talk to you, my Lord.
