Paris
The center of snobbery, fashion, and wine. An entriely over-rated city. It pales deathly in comparison to London. While it has a number of interesting sights to see, it gets old fast if you're not into rotting buildings, art museums, and crepes. I must admit, though, that my experiences with the French were fairly positive. I did not encounter many rude people (or any who were willing to go out of their way to harrass me). They seemed pretty nice overall. I think what they hate most is ignorance of their language. A little bon jour can go a long way. My favorite part of the city is La Defense, the large new banking district, complete with its own arch and skyscrapers, to the west of downtown Paris.
