Happy New Year! We hope all of you had wonderful holidays. We were super busy, but thoroughly enjoyed the season. Below you will find lots of new pictures (Ashley's comments are in ""). We went to New Jersey in December and were lucky enough to enjoy the first snow! We took Ashley out in the snow the day it was falling. It was bitterly cold and the sky was so dreary. She stayed out for a very short time and decided to go back inside to play with Max the cat. The next day when the world was sunny and white- she had a blast making baskets in the net with snowballs and of course eating the snow. Back in Florida, we did a little photo shoot at the beach one day. The pictures came out OK- the sun was setting and the water was quite chilly, but we had a nice time. We also went to Disney for our yearly Christmas visit with the gang. We had a lot of fun baking sugar cookies and finger painting! Ashley was very excited about Santa Claus (however wasn’t in the mood to get her picture taken with him) and “Baby Jesus’ birthday” this year that it truly was a lot of fun. She gave us a good laugh at the Christmas Eve Church Service when after the congregation had stopped singing and all was quiet, she loudly blurted out “Let’s sing Jingle Bells”. The back half of the church giggled and turned around. I was cracking up for a good five minutes! Best wishes to all of you for a healthy and prosperous new year.

Ashley's Birth Story…

"After escaping from mommy's womb, Daddy cut my umbilical cord. Then the nice nurses cleaned me up and weighed me. They took my footprints (see my left foot print) and gave me a bath. After my bath I laid in the warmer for about an hour or so and bonded with my daddy. Being a baby and all, I have to admit that I did cry a little while laying in the warmer. Listen and you can hear me crying. Finally after almost two hours of life, I got to spend time with mommy too. I'm so glad to be here… !"
