You're on your way
And it won't be long,
Til loved ones hold you,
In our arms so strong.
We're anxiously awaiting
the day of your birth,
We've just found out,
You'll be a "dear little girl".
Will your eyes be brown?
Or perhaps they'll be blue.
One thing for sure,
We'll always love you.
Our hearts had a scare
Just a few days ago,
When your mama had problems,
Yes, this I do know.
But the news now is good,
And we've heard that you're fine.
And they say your arrival,
Should be right on time.
So rest now little one,
And grow and be strong.
For we're here and still waiting,
But the wait seems so long.
You'll be so sweet,
And so tiny tis true,
But all of your family,
They're longing for you.
There's Mommy and Daddy,
And the grandparents too.
Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Yes, it's quite a crew.
Oh, that'll be the day
When our hearts will sing
And we're looking foward
To the joy that you'll bring.
So here's Grandma & Grandpa,
and us, one and all.
We're waiting to hold you,
Yes, we'll have a ball.
You'll be so loved,
Of that there's no doubt.
