Soon to turn one year old
Is our precious little girl
From the day she came into our lives
She's set these hearts awhirl.
It's hard to believe that just last year
For us......she didn't exist
Yet since November 4th, 2002
There have been many turns and twists
Even though she came to us
It seemed..."Out of the blue"
She's brought such joy to all our hearts
We've spoiled her.......yes, it's true
Yes, Nanna Lynn and Nanna Lynn
Have had lots of lots of fun
We've even let everyone join in
On spoiling such a precious one
We've discovered much to our regret
She doesn't like the words "No No"
And we're always jumping up and down
Because she's always on the go.
It's a joy for us to keep her
We consider it a treat
When sleeping we will watch her
Amazed by innocence so sweet!
So..honey enjoy your birthday
All the toys, ice cream and cake
We'll be watching with camera's loaded
Lots of pictures we will take
Now open all those presents
Then enjoy each and every one
Oh what a sight it will be
To see you having so much fun!
Happy Birthday to our Precious Girl
Who brightens our lives just like the sun
It's really just so hard to believe
Our sweet baby girl is turning "one".
