Murders

On July 14, 1966, Richard Speck murdered 8 student nurses in a suburb of Chicago. Cora Amurao was the lone survivor because she hid under a bed. Each one of his victims were brutally stabbed and strangled. On one of his victims, he bisected her voice box and her body looked like a broken doll. After the killings, Speck fled to various bars and motels and eventually was caught after a failed attempt of suicide.
