This is a shot of the 2nd. division crew sleeping quarters,these quarters are located at the rear of the ship. The bunks on the left are down in the ready to use position and the ones on the right are in the stored position. ( They are called "racks " )This is where I slept for nearly three years on the Henderson and for nearly a year on the Stockham.
This is a view of the pilot house where the ship is steered and controlled by the officer of the deck and crew members.
