Prologue:
On March 21, 1979 a little girl was born to Carmen Rogers, who then was only 17 years old. Carmen named her daughter Journey James, but called her Jay for short. Carmen, being a drug addict, didn't pay much attention to her daughter. And her father was nowhere to be found, he didn't care about Carmen, or Jay.
As Jay grew up, her mother worked as a hooker to make money to buy food. When Jay turned 16, her mother made her sleep with men to help pay bills and buy food. Though Jay tried to get out of it, her mother would only hit her, making her do something she didn't want to do.
Jay couldn't wait to turn 18. She'd be able to get away from her mother finally and all the men she made her sleep with for money. Only wishing that day could come soon…
